The Bela’s for those who either can’t afford the 2x premium of real lego, or those who want most of the experience at half the price. For the first, imho, the Bela is doing a wonderful thing.

With Lego you’re helping pay the designers who spent hours and hours into designing and making the set as good as they could, but with Lepin they just copied the other person’s ideas and they don’t get money. Ive really enjoyed all the Lepin sets I have purchased! All the flaws you point out are true, except for the mini-fig hand coming out. For display the Lepin sets are serperior, Because of cost. I still buy lego sometimes, but for retired sets, I order from ali express straight from China. I don't feel bad for Lego being ripped off, not my problem, and Lego is raping us$$$. Lepin quality has gone up dramaticly! Just bought the Lepin Jabba's sail barge for 30$! I'm a working guy and can't afford lego, this is why Lepin is thriving!

Indeed nothing wrong with lepin, Lego should get some competition to see prices getting dropped bc these years sets are getting overpriced and its ridiculous. I got the 2015 Lepin Millennium Falcon and the mini figures were not great but Idc, I can still go and buy the real ones if I really want them. Some pieces didn't fit together well like it is with Lego but overall it was fine. I have now the imperial star destroyed ucs first edition and the pieces are a bit loose but I glue them and its fixed (from brand King), the quality is a bit better to compare it to the MF I got from lepin. Its a retired lego set and is so expensive to get nowadays which is so ridiculous and unfair how they ask so much money for it. So I got the Lepin or King Version and it has the same problems with the magnets like lego had when you want to attach the bottom panels of the star destroyer. They aren't that strong from lepin but it was the same back then in 2002 I think when it came out bc I did my research about it so its not only Lepin that is bad in some of the actual quality. Lego was once bad in building technics or quality and they kept growing and getting better and so will lepin bc it hasn't been that long since they are here so it takes kinda time.

Lepin steals Legos work. You don't even realize what flows into a Lego Set. Sure there are overpriced ones, but many are reasonable priced when you take everything into account. Lepin just takes the design and straight up copies it. It isn't even a competetor like someone here said, they are thieves. If you can't afford real Lego, save for it or don't buy it if you are that poor. As you need to work for your money, so does the worker at Lego.

First off it's no "fake" if they don't claim to be Legos, secondly, if you don't build it into that specific TIE fighter it's no longer a knock-off. Those bricks are super affordable and you should use them in your projects, if you have one.

All I've noticed with the two fake lego sets (King Republic Gunship and Mould King razorcrest) are issues with pieces being too tight/loose, minifigures being meh (and arms and legs being too tight actually), stickers being downright awful and some bends in longer pieces. Almost worth it for the absolutely reduced prices, especially for sets lego doesn't make anymore.

Lego is nice (and definitely better quality) , when you can afford it. I live in Slovakia (EU), the average salary is around 900€ brutto, which is around 500€ netto. AND Lego here is at least 20% more expensive than in the US. So...when you have kids, and you want them to play with something and develop their skills , so they can grow up, go to school and than disappear somewhere abroad, to work for somebody like Lego or Siemens in Germany or Denmark (the dark side of free workforce migration and open borders). You buy them fake Lego so they don't have to play with sticks and old tires. Sometimes you have to bend your morals for the greater good. You know. When a Slovak works for someone like Siemens here in Slovakia, he gets a Slovak salary. If you are a German working in Slovakia for Siemens, you get a German salary. So until Lego and Siemens alike won't pay for the same work, the same amount of money, I won't pay Lego for their toys. You won't pay equal, I don't buy equal.

the real is better, but i'm amazed of the quality of the fake one, i mean, if you don't have both at the same time it might be very hard to notice. I'm also always to the side of supporting the real deal, but at the same time i remember as a kid my parents bought me a lot of lego, and they spend reallya lot because let's be honest it's a quite expensive toy, that define if, for example me or my brother recieve the OG tie fighter (plot twist my brother recieved it). The point is that lego is a great kind of toy because besides the playability of it, you have to build it and i think it is a good educational side to it, so you (or your children) will recieve that same benefit for less money, so, if a parent can't afford a given set, i think it is a good option to go (better than not having that set at all). pd: you should have gifted the fake one to some child :(

I have watched some of the fake videos like Lepin. I wouldn't trust that the pieces would all be there or trust the knock offs at all, even for half price. The quality is always shady and I like LEGO and choose to pay more for the real thing. Thanks for the comparisons:)

However, the fact that I am giving my card info. to a knock off company in China, probably have to wait weeks and could very possibly put time into building it only to find out that pieces are missing (customer service; I know very little Mandarin:) or it just doesn't fit together properly. It's a gamble and at the end of the day, best case scenario, it's just a fake. Still, the Super Star Destroyer for $150...tempting.:)
