I am deaf also and that is what my client has always told me. She says that she cannot wait till when I die, that I would walk into Heaven to be able to hear the Angels sing. She also said that when I do, I wouldn't know what I do with myself LOL. In all honestly, I wouldn't know either, but I can say that I would continue to praise the Lord. My singing sucks, but I still do worship. My voice doesn't have to be perfect for others to hear, but I do love to sing.

Singer Mandy Harvey has an incredible story of faith and perseverance. She has always loved music and loved to sing, but due to an illness she slowly lost her hearing. For most people this would be the end of singing and performing, but not for Mandy. She has developed an incredible way to be able to 'hear' the music and herself, and the result is absolutely stunning. God truly gave this woman a gift, her voice is angelic! Hearing her sing 'It Is Well' to worship the Lord who gave her the strength and faith to overcome will bring a tear to your eye. What a beautiful and pure moment of worship!

Her dad highly encouraged her to not give up and to continue seeking ways to make her dreams come true. If not for him, who knows where she'd be? And think of all the people who would never have heard her beautiful voice! I, for one, am so grateful her family supported and encouraged her to press forward and to inspire others to do the same.

I think Mandy is a gift to humanity since she gives many people hope, inspiration, and touches many hearts with her kindness in addition to her passion (hence her talent) for music. I'm not nearly as talented, but I am a human with autism who also enjoys playing music (on violin and trombone and piano and a little bit of some other instruments) , and sometimes when I really get into it, there's this feeling I get as I get goosebumps and all of a sudden I'm able to make the violin sing, like playing violin for my grandpa before he passed right after having surgery for a detached retina (so I was wearing an eye patch and couldn't see the best at the time) but still despite that, the passion overcame that and all of a sudden I was able to make the violin sing ( I believe due to my intense feeling of passion in that moment of time when I was playing for my grandpa)...it's as if spirituality grants you the gift of talent because of your love or passion for it rather than a person who is focusing on how "good" they can do something....there's a difference between trying your best to do something well and putting your heart into doing something, and it's when you put your heart into doing something that makes it possible for someone to be able to do something the best that they can...Mandy is a wonderful example of bringing out the best in her talents, her soul, and humanity....is what I feel. : )

Kestrels Call it is a beautiful song, isn’t it? the beautiful part about it is that there is an actual one that mandy harvey is singing about. the same one that bethel music, the writers of this song, wrote this song about. the waves and wind know this one’s name. they fall at his command. this one made them with nothing. another beautiful part is that this One is God. the Creator of the Universe. the One who made the world. and He also made you. but here’s the most beautiful part. after He made the world and it sinned a lot, He knew that He had to come up with a plan to save His beautiful creation (earth and people). there are two places you can go after you die, heaven (to be with God and Jesus, who comes into the picture later) or hell (to burn for eternity in unspeakable pain with satan, a being who is completely against God). in order for us to be able to go to heaven, we’d have to be perfect because He is a perfect God and is holy and cannot tolerate evil. so He came up with a plan. He sent someone down to earth called Jesus. Jesus is God’s only Son, God in the flesh. God. and He loves you. a lot. heaven and hell are still the only 2 destinations after death, and both are eternal. if you don’t accept this gift God’s given you, you’ll spend eternity in forever torment. but if you do, man, you’ll live and sing and dance and be completely joyful forever with no corruption ever again for eternity alongside all the other believers. if you wanna accept this free gift, all you gotta do is 1) believe that Jesus is God’s son and that God rose Him from the grave for us and 2) confess with your mouth that Jesus IS Lord. if you do those things, congratulations my brother or sister, you are part of the family. you have been saved! if you aren’t ready yet, i beg you, please think about it. search up some Billy Graham youtube videos. download the Holy Bible App and read the book of John in ICB, or international children’s Bible (which is the easiest to understand and one of my favorite translations). this won’t be a waste of your time.
