Happy Monday, friends! I spent a long time unlearning bad habits, but it was worth it.

We’ve been homeschooling for 6 years. Most people in our area homeschool through a charter school (basically, public school at home) it’s so hard to find homeschoolers that teach from a Biblical worldview. That’s why I absolutely LOVE your channel!

2nd year of homeschooling my little ones, we have learned a lot! I was homeschooled until 10th grade, and I'm so grateful to my parents.

I love hearing about your experience as a teacher and how that shaped your beliefs about education. Your video about schools not being neutral is one of my favorites from you! My husband and I are expecting our first and we’ve always known that we will be homeschooling our kids!

In our current community in Ontario, the home education community is either heavily secular or a specific religious sect. that we are not members of. We've been homeschooling for 4 years. Listening to Christian homeschoolers helps me so much to keep my perspective and hear from other Christians who have the same values and beliefs that we have. Thank you, it means so much.

This was the issue I had with my MIL in the beginning of “virtual learning” during the pandemic. She insisted on my child sitting at the desk for hours on end.

We are planning on homeschooling our daughter, though it’s going to be awhile before that happens since she just turned one. My husband and I both were homeschooled, so it is what we know.

This is my 3rd year homeschooling and I still feel like it's a struggle to get my kids to do anything (2nd and Kindergarten). There's a good amount of homeschoolers in my area, I just need to get more intentional with joining them for field trips, park days, etc.

We've homeschooled for ten years. It's always been rough with my oldest and I feel she would do well in a private Christian school arena, but that's not an option. We've just struggled since the beginning. We can't even do co-ops or anything now because we moved to the middle of nowhere. Thankfully my second daughter does very well with it! My husband wanted to homeschool from the start and it's his idea, and like my oldest I still struggle.

Lol. Have you homeschooled in a public school? I have. My husband is a public school math teacher and needed my help setting up his class (desks and bulletin boards) so I brought our daughter and some of her independant homeschool work to the public school while I helped my husband. We also are not allowing/doing any secular or claimed to be neutral books/curriculum into our home.

I taught in a state VPK program, and did about 8 years of pre-k, and volunteer work in public schools (TA). We've done the same, no secular books. Bulletin boards were my FAVORITE thing about teaching 🤣 I was the queen of bulletin boards at my school.

I strongly believe in Biblically based curriculum, especially after trying to use secular books from the library for science and seeing how it affected my young child! Unfortunately I had to switch to secular Reading and Spelling because my daughter needsd specialty curriculum for her learning struggles. We are trying to integrate the Bible as much as possible and use Biblically based curriculum wherever we can now though. For the students who dont struggle we are loving Master Books and its commitment to biblical worldview.
