Purple was made for your eyes. Unbelievably beautiful! You have the most gorgeous eyes I've ever seen....really!!! I've never had anything from Viseart and if I hadn't already ordered that new Sunset Palette from ND (which I was lucky to get before it sold out) I would definitely be ordering this palette....I'm a little "shy" of the purples but you can bet that tomorrow I'm gonna be breaking out my Laura Mercier Artist Palette and rock those purples! Lol! The Sunset Palette drew me in the moment I saw it and I'm really Not a palette person but those colors!!! They would be stunning on your eyes!!!! Thank you so much Beverly! I am so scared the powder is fazing out for good...the UD site still has it but it seems to be close to discontinuation. I hope whatever takes it place is even better. I actually didn't get the ND palette...I didn't even try believe it or not. I do think the colors were beautiful..I researched it for awhile, and decided that I wouldn't get much use out of 3-4 of the mattes, had all the other matte colors in other brands, and I wasn't a fan of the shimmers in the Star palette, so I decided to skip on this one. I used that money and bought some Osmosis makeup and some new stuff from Nars. :) Let me know how you like it...I can't wait to hear your thoughts!

Gorgeous! All of the looks are beautiful. I love Viseart shadows and the purples are stunning. Yesterday I picked up the Philosophy skin tint (thought I said I wasn't LOL) and WOW it is beautiful. Looks like skin in that perfect healthy looking way. It's soft and dewy without being too dewy. It's beautiful. I did put it in a pump bottle per your suggestion. Thank you for that review and this demo on the different purple looks. I really look forward to your videos.

I ended up getting Minx in the sale(and the Bye Bye lines) Now i think I will have to get this palette. I have hazel green eyes and I have a feeling this would be lovely with them. Oh hazel is the most ideal color for purple shadows. I always try to convince my hazel/green eyed clients to let me use purple/plum tones on them...there is nothing like it!

Heavenly days! This is a gorgeous palette! Wowza! Of course, I have a major weakness for purple! I all of my purple singles and palettes trying to color match. Haha! Checking for some that I'm hoping might stand in... I just can't justify another palette right now ( to my hubby! To myself, it's easily justified!) You look especially pretty in the purple shadows. ✨ I was wondering if you might be willing to do several looks with the Modern Renaissance palette. I think that any of these looks can be worn day or night. It's totally personal preference. I often wear what people say should be a night look during the day and love it!

Thank you for the tutorials--these are such pretty looks! :) Would you consider adding in a tutorial for super beginners for eye makeup? Somehow I never learned to do that (and I am 40! Yikes!). I love watching your tutorials, but when I try to follow along and replicate it, I just make a mess. I also wanted to thank you for recommending the Chanel loose powder in your five favorite powders. I have been using it for a couple of weeks now and I love it! A good powder makes a huge difference.

Thank you for replying--that's so nice of you! I always get stuck working with color in my crease and the outer corner. It might be because I have hooded eyes, but I everything ends up mixed together. I don't know if that makes sense... Then I give up and use just one color over the lid with eyeliner and leave it at that!

Which IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Line Serum, the one that is used all over the face is the one you use under your eyes or is it the eye cream that is blue? Those purple looks are amazing for your eyes!! They look so good on you.

I don't have that palette, but I am sure you could make similar looks...not sure the colors are identical and I feel like the Viseart formula is hard to beat...but you can definitely do similar looks with other palettes. :)

I really liked the matte eye. It was sooo pretty. I also really enjoyed seeing different techniques! Most of the tutorials I watch are very similar starting with transition and so on. So it was nice changing it up. I am seriously considering getting some of their eye shadows. If you could do a video of overall thoughts/review/comparison and different looks from some of the different ones you own? Wow that was "mouth full" sorry. On a side note I am not that good at makeup yet. I have hooded eyes and just haven't found my "go to" look yet. I have some high end and drug store but I guess I'm thinking why mess around getting a few good pallets when I can have one great one. So I'm just unsure what to do. Stephanie Nicole did a interview recently with them and It was great! They sound like a great company as well. Wow This is getting long. So overall What would you suggest to someone like me? Oh and I'm 36. So there's that to. 😉

Thanks Dana...I am actually not planning on getting that palette. I much prefer her 5 pan palette formula for shimmers, and there are about 4 of the mattes in the palette that I don't see myself wearing. So, I am going to pass I believe, and spend the $130 on something else I am sure. LOL

Oh goodness...they are both beautiful. I guess it depends on what you would get the most use out of...if you have more of the warmer colors that are in the minx, I would totally get this one. They are both so good it's hard to pick. I use the Minx more in my kit and this one more for personal use.

I agree with Elaine...I prefer the mattes in viseart and the shimmers from ND; but only in her 5 pan palettes. I am not a huge fan of the ND new formula shimmers in her most recent palettes. Viseart doesn't have bad shimmers, but they are not as pigmented as ND...good for photo shoots and aging eyes, but if you like bling, ND is the way to go. :)

Hey Lola...Elaine is correct...I do feel like the mattes in the bigger palettes are a bit dryer in texture so I do think, personally, that the formula is a bit different.

bahahaha. I actually did do a blue and silver smokey eye per my prom clients request...I posted it on IG and LOVED the outcome...but blue is definitely reserved for prom....for me anyways.

Mandy Davis MUA haha! Oh, goodness! I was thinking of that gross pearly, chalky blue that was so big in the 70's that girls wore like one thin swipe of it on their lid and that was it. I was just a kid and I thought they looked awful. THAT's the blue I was thinking of. I actually have done a tealish blue smoky eye on myself that always gets me compliments on my eyes looking so blue. And you have a funky blue smoky eye tutorial that I have on a favs playlist. I didn't even think of either of those things - got myself hung up on that awful blue that should have been outlawed a couple decades ago. Now Ima go check your IG.
