Hey you guys! So today I wanted to try some products I used to use back in the day. Mane n Tail! Comment below a horse emoji if you are reading this. My mom used to swear by this shampoo and conditioner (which can be used on horses and other animals), but it used to dry my hair out badly. My hair was permed back then, so I wanted to see how it would work on my natural hair.

@Lea A, I was feeling nostalgic a few months ago and bought the shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo made my hair feel stripped but the conditioner was good. I haven't used it since but I think I'm gonna use it again. Evidently, my hubby is cuz the shampoo bottle dented in the middle😁

SunQueen it’s super concentrated since it has to be strong enough to clean a horse. Dilute it with water in a bottle before applying to your hair. It will dry your hair out full strength. I haven’t used it since childhood but my friend use it from childhood-adult and swears by it.

I’m white with fine wavy-straight hair, and this brand has been working great on my hair type too! its so much healthier and grows faster. your natural hair is so pretty btw, im obsessed with your curl pattern :)

You're right-- back in the day there were few products for our hair -- grease and water or grease and a pressing comb, so we just used what we had.

Only use the conditioner! The original conditioner works better! Use as a leave in conditioner; on my mama yo hair grow crazy

Yes it works but i suggest if you use the original one you are gonna need to add back oils because it does leave the hair a little dry. But it cleans my hair better than any other shampoo and conditioner. Btw sorry about your dogs.

I love this shampoo and conditioner. I use it on myself, my horses and my dog. I got away from it and I regret it. I am trying the deep moisture for the first time, I usually get the "normal" one (the one that just says mane n tail)
