I think you are dumbest person I've ever meet. What about children who grew up there, they end thinking life of criminal is a normal one that's why most of them are criminals. My friend there is a commin mindset that a community develop, most people did not join gangs intentionally they joined because they grew in communities where gangster life is normalized

These people are a menace to themselves. The accommodation is not that bad compared to the squatter camps next door with no services. You don't have to become a gangster if you live under those circumstances. Obviously there is a problem with bringing up their own kids. I am sure the police get blamed for all sorts of things but they and other people from outside must solve their problems.

@@lordbyr0n5 You don't know anything a out how I grew up but you were priviliged compared to Africans, even during apartheid. You live in on of SA'S economic hubs. Lots of opportunities and education facilties. Many people wish to live in Cape Town and surrounds. You create your own hell. You know what is wrong whth the other members of your community but you are part of it. Change yourself first before you blame others and your circumstances. It's all in your mind.

The easy response to this community is fear and disassociation. However, ask yourself how are you going to make a difference in the lives of those kids. People who do not live in this community or a community like this are easily disgusted and fearful of it. That kind of thinking is not helpful, keep your sheltered opinions to yourself. Couloured people of cape town you need to band together to solve this problem, nothing will change if you do not get involve in the solution. Stop discussing the problem in Manenberg and start being part of the solution. Thanks
