“I swear that I’m not drunk, and I’m not taking drugs” was a clear reference to what happened in Eurovision 2021 EDIT: so what happened? well, while they were in the green room, damiano had his head down on the edge of a table and he kinda looked like he was snorting coca cola (but in reality, thomas had broken a glass cup and it smashed on the floor. so he was looking at that). and during their press conference after they won, some french guy asked him if he was doing drugs in the green room. btw they also did a drug test and they all passed. hope this helps!

Мне нравится, как смысл композиции обыгран в клипе с помощью простого и читаемого визуала, дуальности всех персонажей (пока один клон выступает на сцене, второй присутствует в зале, взаимодействуя с окружающими) и в целом качественной образности. Вроде бы, бунтарская фриковатая несуразица, но приглядишься к деталям - и увидишь, как много ума и сердца сюда вложено. Ирония строк "Отдай мне команду, и я выполню все, что ты пожелаешь, ведь мой музыкальный вкус - это твои стоны" вообще на уровне: обращен он, очевидно, ко всем, кто предъвлял "МAMMAMIA" какие-либо претензии и называл ее IWBYS номер 2, и боже, как же хорошо все сделано! Это же буквально: "Спрос рождает предложение, детка. То, что вы выделяете в нашем творчестве, то, что вы делаете вирусным, через вынужденность, боль, кровь создает нас как артистов, следующих намеченному тренду". Так что это не только философский посыл, обращенный к юношеству, но и в принципе крик фанатам: "Мы в ваших руках, мы с вами в зале и на сцене, мы на одной волне со своей аудиторией и следуем ее приказам, даже если вышеуказанная аудитория (абсолютно такие же молодые люди, как мы, с теми же "лицами" и бунтарской душой) создает наши образы не совсем такими, как намечалось". Показательно также и то, что главной жертвой сюжетного беспредела композиции становится Дамиано: он всего лишь молодой парень, который хочет повеселиться и совершает различные шалости, но, несмотря на безобидность, жестоко получает от слушателей (таких же, как члены его группы, молодых, прикольных ребят, носящих лица Итана, Виктории, Томаса) - аллюзия на массовое внимание, хейт, придирки ни за что от людей "из зала". С одной стороны, он признает, что дурашлив, своенравен, с другой - показывает весь абсурд, все безумие происходящего и всю несерьезность своего образа секс-символа: мол, "если ты помрешь, мы быстренько найдем другого на замену; ты зафорсился, ты надоел, ты уже не интересен, так что скройся уже". Класс. С любовью из России!

Надо сказать, вечеринка там довольно тухлая. Публика лениво подтанцовывает, но с закрытыми глазами, либо все заняты своими делами и никто не обращает внимание, как убивают Дамиано из-за ерунды.
