I love nioxin. I’m a licensed hairdresser here in the US. Been using it religiously for a year plus. I have recommended this to my clients for the last 7 years. I absolutely believe in this product. My hair no longer looks thin, my edges came back, overall I shed less, etc. 💖💖

It's not like rogaine that you have to use forever or else lose the hair you've grown, but since it helps improve the condition of your scalp which makes your hair grow in healthier I imagine it'd be the same results as stopping any other hair or skin product where it depends on what product you switch to. If you don't want to use it all the time I'd recommend maybe using it once a week at least before switching completely to another product and see if anything changes.

Its been reformulated and its not what it used to be according to what i've read just fyi. It still might be worth a shot its up to you.

Hi Robin. Great review. Just one thing, it looks like you're using far too much of the scalp tonic/treatment. That could be why it keeps your hair wet for a long time. Use just about 2 pumps, and spread it on your scalp with your fingertips. It will last much longer and you won't get that wet hair.

ANY hair treatment will take at a MINIMUM of 3 months to 6 for enough regrowth to see results. Four weeks is NOT enough time to judge the product. I was a pharmacist and worked in research

Debra, Ive been using these products myself for hair loss due to illness. And honestly, in 6 weeks im so amazed!! I have new baby hairs in my scalp but also at my hairline which has not grown in years!! I also have really sparce eyebrows. Since over plucking in the 90s they have been left with gaps that have never grown. And using Nioxin on my brows too they are growing back. My only problem is ive got spots in my hairline at my forehead. I literally have no affiliation to the product. Im not an "influencer" of any sort. And im honestly blown away by the results.

My problem is that I have to use also Head & Shoulders as it is the only shampoo effective against me getting dandruff. Is that a good way to use this product?
@Holt3337 ай бұрын
Yes. This System does work. I do it every other day and only apply the scalp and hair treatment after it’s dry or almost dry. Then I blow dry after about 30 mins. So it’s about a post shampoo and conditioner 45 min process but it def has made my hair fuller with regrowth! Every other day is for dandruff stoppage. However, they do make a Nioxin dandruff shampoo you could switch off every day between the two if you want/need to was everyday.

I then resorted to nioxin. so far, have been working great. it's not magic but you can def feel the improvement and it's so much easier to stick to the routine since it's just shampoo and conditioner.

The sulphates in this are specific for cleansing and degreasing the scalp. Certain research says that scalp sebum can be detrimental to already thinning hair. So getting the scalp cleansed throughly, removing the dead skin cells that accumulates, any environmental dust/ debris and degreased is half the battle. If you dont then the topical products you put on, which tend to be water based, will not absorb as mich or at all. These products were developed decades ago and while they are up to date with ingredients and the science of hair loss, having sulphates is a necessity. And.... they realy are villanized for almost nothing...

The scalp treatment is horrible, greasy and my hair (very fine) becomes unmanageable with it in. It feels disgusting and I can't get it to look dry even after using a hairdryer. Not sure which part of nioxin is the most important though so I don't want to skip the last step.

Wait so this product is just to make hair thicker/fuller? I was told they have product like Rogaine to help with receding hair line

Don't use Rogaine. It is a vicious useless product.

@@gaborh.6790 why do u say that? It's been medically proven
@gaborh.67903 жыл бұрын
@@vinblack85 What has been clinically proven? That it doesn't work for everyone and it dries your scalp like crazy? At least the solution does. If you really want to waste your money, get the foam then. That dries less.

@@gaborh.6790 the drug minoxidil has been scientifically proven since the 80s that it works. It does suck that not much progress has been made since then but ya

The second you wash your hair you lose all the added volume from the scalp bottle… been using it for about a year and when I don’t put the 3rd product in my hair my hair looks thin as hell and that’s because that foam only seems to thicken the appearance by latching to the hair, but shampooing washes it out

That’s actually a very good question I mean if you think this product worth it it’s in your scalp so what are you going to do and you have to do it’s literally living in there a long time I mean it this product is a daily use it so if you’re going to use hairstyles and blow dry and stuff I suggest you do that, after use the Systems, for example one day that you’re going out you want to hairstyle your hair is the shampoo hours before like in the morning and then if you go out in the night you can hairstyle it

There is no way that your hair is going to get thicker and you're going to grow more hair in 4 weeks when it takes from:00 to a year for your hair to grow from all those three cycles I'm sorry I don't believe this works
