I’m really enjoying this series and your channel as a whole! Last night I sat up binge watching tons of videos haha! I’ve always had very fine hair. My hairdressers always say “You’ve got fine hair but you’ve got LOTS of it!”. It’s very smooth, very soft, very straight. It always sits very flat and I have a hard time styling it in a way that holds it up. Ive ordered some of the products you’ve recommended including a sea salt spray, thickening spray, a clay and a hairspray. Never tried any pre-styling before so I’m excited to start experimenting and looking forward to the rest of this series! I always hate washing my hair because shampoo leaves my hair feeling very soft and flat. Are the any products that leave it feeling more textured?

Hi, I’m in my mid 40’s and this is the first video I have ever watched on men’s grooming. How crazy is that!? I had high hopes for hair powder, but the one I got basically immediately fused with my hair and clumped up, making it impossible to get a comb through it. It also just didn't lead to a good look. It looked dry and it was itchy. I threw it out.

Tried hair powder for the first time and it was really stiff and it hurt working it into my hair. I was basically pulling out hair the more I worked it. Using a comb didn't work, it was like trying to comb through knots. I'll try again with maybe less, and only apply to the roots. I don't feel like I used a lot though, much less than I see people in videos putting.

Asking for advice please: I have a lot of very fine hair. The left side of my head is cut short, about 1 inch. The back part next to my part always sticks up. Silica in such a fine powder- seems like there would be a concern of silicosis in the lungs. That’s a real concern.
