My carbon fiber 190 has been absolutely phenomenal. Manfrotto tripods are absolutely worth the money and will serve you well for several years!

Probably the biggest limiting factor of this tripod is that it's heavy. Other than that I definitely would buy it again.

This tripod is super heavy for travel but filming close to the house it has helo up remarkably well.

I bought one of these tripods a few days ago, used...but in excellent condition...1 of the things I don't like is that the leg folding mechanism is not good...if I tighten the screw it will be stable, but it will open very very hard...if i unroll it then it will be very loose at first...is there something wrong with my copy??I tried to disassembly and grease and clean the parts,but did not helped much.All in all if i want to shoot low angle position its pretty annoying with this tripod :(

The ball head is rather strong. The 105 L lens for Canon 7d is the largest camera and lens I have used. No issues at all.

I don't think sunglasses has a sufficient weight to counter balance the tripod :)
