Tomas, that's a well-done video, but I was trying to find repair parts on the web when I came across it. I've got to chime in here, I repair A/V equipment for a living and my experience is that some of the Manfrotto products are not too durable, they're okay for light-to-medium duty use...take care of this unit, it's FRAGILE! I've had to replace many of the plastic parts on their tripods.

nice, is there any way where I can mount a ball head on a flat mount, can the screw on the heat be dismantled to be mounted on a flat base, like the sachtler ones,, pls n lemme know ASAP. thanks

Yes, you just need to get a 100mm half ball mount and swap it out for the 502.
