Toji is a scoundrel, he plans far ahead to kill his mark so he will definitely be aware of Douma's weaknesses and act accordingly. Besides that, he has an armoury of Cursed Tools, one of which is the Split-Soul Katana that directly attacks the soul, which I am pretty sure Douma has nothing that can protect him against it. Toji just has too much going for him for the Ice to ever even hit him, even without any prep.

@@XXLightningxFarron i doubt cursed tools would work on a human as it would a sorsurer or cursed spirits and for doma his ice would make it almost impossible for toji to go near him and his ice clones could make more ice bda and as soon as it hits it would freeze instantly and doma has a move to cover everything and everywhere with ice toji doesn't have anything to stop that and toji is only mach 2 or 4 and doma is much more faster than that by far if he was serious he would kill toji before he realized

@@c.eanimationworld6742 Just because you "doubt it would work" doesn't mean it would not, I could also argue Douma's Ice would do next to nothing to a Toji that can eat Gojo's Red, and Maki who inherits the same Heavenly Restriction can later also tanked Jogo's fire. The sword is never stated to be exclusively effective to Cursed Users or Spirits, and Cursed Techniques very much work on people that lack any Cursed Energy, only techniques that require detection of cursed energy to be activated. Besides that, Toji could also use his basically infinite chain to bind Douma long enough for the sun to rise if he ever so wanted considering he is physically leagues and bounds stronger than Douma. I am also still fairly certain Toji is much faster than Douma in his prime, he is stated to be weaker compared to when he was still in the Zenin clan. Toji's stats are just too high, Hell, Megumin said none of his Shikigami could hope to defeat him and one of them he could be referring to is Mahoraga.
