Upon first seeing the thumbnail,it confused me in terms of how new the design looked (which I looked very much) but also how the mood changed in the next panel. The fmc here on the thumbnail looked super hot but her mean looks kinda killed it for me like butter face vibes here. Just realized the last panel shot looked like yesterday's episode involving the idol doing that same back turn there as it was here. When I first started watching this, my impression on the mc IMMEDIATELY went out the window when he started "hitting" on her with such vulgar tone and these unexpected double (sexual innuendos) entendres he pulls off. Even the narration done by him never sit well for me whatsoever. No man in the right mind would SAY THAT TO A RANDOM WOMAN! if anything, I would expect the mc to see a woman,who was sad, sitting on a bench, drinking alone and your first thought is to check up on her and see if she's okay instead of trying to sound like you're trying to get into her pants or take advantage of her. If you ask me, he kinda came off as a womanizing pig right upon first meeting the mc here. The fmc here didn't make no difference either as she came off as horrible just from the exchange alone. And my feelings towards him didn't even change a smidge as I was watching the whole story progressed. To be honest when Mr.utsunomiya showed up, I was ACTUALLY rooting for him then I did with both kaguya and takeru. but the only thing I didn't like was the fact that the dude (utsunomiya) brought personal matters in a workplace. What I don't get is why did kaguya suddenly get jealous and pulled takeru away from the 2 female coworkers he was taking to? She never showed ANY signs of her having romantic interest towards takeru. I don't mind teasing or a good bit of jokes here and there but it felt like he overdid it a bit (might be a stretch on my way of thinking). I WILL however give credit to where it's due as takeru did his job and told it like it is to utsunomiya and even got the dude fired once he reported to the higher ups as we find out later he was hired by them. The ending left me off with so much confusion as kaguya hugging takeru from behind on the 2nd of part of the thumbnail was never present when I got done watching this. Very misleading and I hate it. Let's not forget the title didn't make sense either as the dude didn't get demoted and sent to the countryside (he was sent in secret) but the seeing NEVER shows anything that was considered the countryside. And also their last exchange irritated me to no end with the noodle incident (tv trope reference). The story felt mixed for me just the dialogue in itself as the plot reminded me of I'm a company president who never works from manga angel neko oka of 3 months ago. I DID get a kick outta the new art style and the character design. The environment and backgrounds felt new to me and the effects looked nice to some extent.
