On the one hand, I do appreciate that the childhood friend was good to him and he was just dense about her feelings. Saying that, she was fully love bombing him to get him to be with her while she thought he had an actual girlfriend. If the guy had a girlfriend she would be pushing him to cheat with her. I think she should have investigated him having a girlfriend more, he admits he lied so she doesn't need to stay over. She still stays over then love bombs him until he notices her feelings.

Hm, I got it different. At that point, he just wanted her to go her own way, and he thought his presence is what was keeping her from getting BF. So he was not feeling not good enough for her at that time. Actually decent move, being aware that letting someone take care of you might have kind of be blocking that other person.

Side note: I love the fact that the fmc is named after the best friend of Tomo aizawa from Tomo-Chan is a girl. Makes me feel like she finally got a man of her own lol. That aside, the classic childhood friend romance troupe never fails to make me smile. MC doesn’t feel like he’s good enough for the girl he likes, or doesn’t wanna risk losing his childhood sweetheart and the FMC wants to take their relationship to the next level. I love these stories.

I can confirm that “normies” judge us based on the books we read. At one internship, I brought out a fiction novel to read at lunch. The normies became resentful. This was a nice one, the girl was nice and not pretend snooty with the guy at all, and didn't force him to give an answer straight away. Much better than others I've watched. What would be even more interesting would be a video where the roles are reversed. Cuz I see so many vids just like this one, where the guy is oblivious to the girls feelings and it's the girl who's semi-confident to make a move in a round about way. But I'd like to see one where the girl is the one who's a bit insecure and can't confess to a guy, and the guy somehow sees her in a different light and starts to make a move on her.
