Naw, she's not a yandere. The fact that she was willing to walk away when she thought that he didn't like her the same way she liked him testifies to that. If she was yandere she'd have taken him down on that bench and explained to him that he BELONGED to her. But not being yandere has never stopped ANY woman from being jealous. Hell! The one I divorced believed our marriage was just one of convenience, and she still got jealous of I talked to other women. Saying this to anyone out there who wants to date a guy. Yes, some guys can be quite dense about this kind of stuff. At the very least I'm quite sure I'd be horrible at trying to read the signals. I know it's easy to make fun of "dense anime protagonist" type of characters in fiction but guys aren't mind readers, and it can feel safer to just admire unattainable girls from a distance rather than try to approach them to make friends with them or ask them out. I'm sure this doesn't apply to every guy out there, but the point is that if you like someone then it's better to take the first step yourself rather than wait and hope the other person understands your signals and approaches you instead. Me? I'd rather just sit in the corner until someone else approaches me first...

Glad the misunderstanding is resolved and Manabu got a girlfriend in Mayumi because of that encounter but she's a Yandere so he has to be careful though 😅

Damn gurl she got that Yandere look but I'm glad it was all a misunderstanding and I'm also glad Manabu resolved that otherwise he'll regret. To be honest, MC should really learn to say no if he really didn't wanna go. Especially he already has that gorgeous girl who cooked for him every day! But even if she'll reject him if he confessed, he should have at least be confident to at least get clarity and get off his chest without any doubt and respectfully moved on. That's what a man would have done so. But from the way I see it, to say that he was not a good match for her is probably not entirely true. She's a keeper, no girl would cook for someone she didn't like except her family.

I get that someone like Mayumi doesn't exist irl, she's one of a kind. Im a guy, but I somewhat hate Manabu for let his thoughts win. He thought hes not a good match/shes going to reject him, like ffs man. Shes going out of her way to make lunch for you everyday, and still doing that are already obvious signs. How about try to accept her kindness, repair yourself, and actually return her favor next time. Going to drinking party? Pfft what a joke. didn't think i'd see this art style, character design AND thumbnail art (which looks scary as hell 😱😱😱 but beautiful nonetheless) all in one take from 2 weeks ago called "My childhood friend's father said I could marry his daughter if I protected her, but...". i have mixed feelings about this like the first 12 minutes was going well until at 13:41-14:49 where pretty much the whole plot gets ruined. and it gets worse around 18 minutes in where manabu shoots himself inn the foot even further like dude, why would you go? and then 19 minutes towards the end, mayumi gets all petty and stubborn all throughout like man, why add this in? it would've been great if she went FULL-ON YANDERE and gave his friend a piece of her mind. THAT would've been a great story. this kinda feels equal to my opinion to yesterday and i don't mean the compilation with the drawing style used first. I wrote a huge reaction to this minutes ago and it got hidden real quick.

The hand holding incident should alone make him suspect she liked him the same with her giving him lunch and wanting to eat with him. I suspect he will hurt her feelings a lot in the future too.
