Hey gang! I'm the Male VA for this story, so thanks for watching! While this walks a fine line, with him meeting her in High School, it wasn't until she was an adult that he even considered his feelings for her, so I think it's safe enough. Plus, it was clear he legit wanted to be there for her and protect her, given everything she went through. Props to the Boss for letting him out, which is not usually an easy to do with Gangs. But it was clear Ryusuke wasn't meant to be a Yakuza, so once he is able to get some work, he'll no doubt work hard to provide for her and their family. It's great that Ryusuke was able to help Kurumi with her mother Yoko's hospital bills and saved her from going down the wrong path in life and it's sweet that she was there for him after his accident 🥲 and it's sweet that her mother was able to get better ☺️ and was there for their wedding. 🥰

I agree with the VA that the story was on very thin ice since Ryu met Kurumi while she was only 16, but the story did establish that the girl was the handsy one while Ryu was strict about his boundaries - you can't accept other parts of the story at face value and deny that point. Still, it was mentioned that he was going to be paralyzed from the waist down - that wasn't addressed. And what happened to the guy who ran him over? Somehow I'm not satisfied with the story, but at the same time it feels like a real mobster story. Ex-mobsters do get hate from the community and usually don't have many options when they exit except to strike out on their own. I'm happy the manga left that hanging. I hope his severance was big enough so they can move to another city and build their own legitimate livelihood or business there.

It was just nurses talking. If you have ever worked in a hospital, you will know that the people who are there are incorrigible gossips. That's largely because the work can be very boring, especially at night.

Do you know what I loved about this story the most? First the VA’s killed it. They were really great. Second, even though they had to make him a gangster, the mmc was an actual man! A no nonsense takes care of the people he cares about man. 😂😂 sure he may have killed an undisclosed number of people in between meeting Kurumi but a man nonetheless 😂😂😂

(old post 3 days ago) holy crap, i didn't think i would see this beautiful art style and character design again on the thumbnail and clip since 2 days ago! and another treat from shades and rebecca appear again together as they did in sekai no fushigi. i know aoharu manga library and romcom manga chan did something like this before. ryusuke must be one tough s.o.b to take a hit from that crazy driver and STILL beat the odds of nearly becoming paralyzed. quite a story I've seen. it's a good thing he has standards. i was a bit concerned myself when it came to kurumi's age. 🤣 no idea why but ryusuke looks so much like tatsu from the way of the househusband.

Ryusuke really was a good man at heart. He helped out Kurumi with her mother's debt and took care of her into adulthood.🥲 And she returned the favor when he got into an accident.🥹 Now the two are happily married together with Kurumi's mom attending their wedding after she got better.🥰
