Story Idea: An adult woman (FMC) receives a wedding invitation from her childhood friend and her first love (MMC) whom she hasn’t heard from since high school. Flashback shows how during their high school days, she always teased him, but deep down she loved him but was too embarrassed to tell him. Then one day after school, the MMC wanted to ask the FMC something. He then confesses his feelings for her, but in a fit of embarrassment, she rejects him, leaving him heartbroken. The next day, feeling terrible for hurting him she tries to talk to him about what happened but instead, he ignores her. After the next few months, he treats her like she doesn’t exist. Then at graduation, he leaves for a college far from home, now realizing she hurt the one person she loved. Now on the day of the wedding, she reunites with her childhood friend. The MMC then tells her how he felt during their days in high school and from when he confessed. Even though he was sad about the rejection, he invited her so he could let go of the past. He tells her he really did love her, even though she didn’t but was glad he had her as a friend. After the wedding, The FMC heads home with tears in her eyes, now realizing she pushed away the man she loved into the arms of another. Once’s in bed to sleep the pain away, she wishes to go back in time to fix what she could’ve had. The next morning, she wakes up and realizes she’s back to when she was in high school. Taking this opportunity she vows to fix her relationship with her friend and to not let him go. (I rewrote it, and I know it’s long but hey I wanted to make it more detailed. Bare with me)

I remember a story just like this when a transfer student transferred into the MC’s class and claimed to be the Mc’s ex gf. Turns out they promised to dig up a time capsule they put together when they got older but FMC never showed up and MC was heartbroken and a little bit traumatized because he felt betrayed. FMC expected MC to remember the promise but she was at fault because she never told MC that she was moving. Well I’m glad Kaito and Misa finally reunited and got married but what those two girls made a point. Misa suddenly barges into Kaito’s life and moves in with him and like every story MC has no say and the mother goes with the flow. It’s like the mothers never listen to their son’s and don’t even consider their feelings. And Miss being clingy was annoying too
