Really sweet how Toru was able to meet Nao and help her patch things up with her mom so Nao can live her own dreams and not that of her mom. And seeing Toru and Nao get together at the end was so sweet and wholesome. They're just so perfect for each other.

Man that was a damn good story! I have seen lives totally ruined by parents who tried to live "their" dreams through their children. This ain't right people. Your kids have dreams of their own. They can't be your surrogate. It was so good to see a character like Toru who had finally quit trying to live up to his parent's expectations, cut ties, and began to live his own life step up and defend Nao against her mother. Her mother really wasn't a "bad" person, but, like many others, her desire to see her daughter famous clouded her judgement. She couldn't see what it was doing to Nao. But thanks to Toru she now sees that what she was doing to Nao was not a good thing. The direction this storyline took leads me to believe that Nao and her mother have a good chance of reconciling and moving forward in the future. Unfortunately, while this sometimes happens IRL, it's not the norm.
@jeromekeh9 ай бұрын
good mother but with stupid decisions since she is inconsiderate about her daughter's feelings until someone else pointed it; meaning that if it takes another person to point out all the bad stuff you've been doing then you're almost in the deep end and point of no return but I could be wrong.
@michaellinnet60959 ай бұрын
@@jeromekeh Yeah, could be. You're right about the "good mother, bad decisions" part. But you don't have to be almost in the deep end to need someone else to open your eyes to what you're doing to your child. Some parents, and single parents in particular, just want so badly to give their children the opportunities that they had to set aside to raise their kids that they don't see what's happening. And when you take someone like Nao who knows her mom gave up that opportunity to raise her, she won't tell her mom what it's doing to her. She hides it from her. Some get pretty bad, but others often get lucky and have a family member or friend who steps in before it goes that far. But there are some cases that get really bad too. Michael Jackson and Shirley Temple are two cases that come to mind where the individuals had almost total meltdowns before things changed.

Great story and people. I must say that people like Nao and her mother are exist so often I think. Children and parents are so dump in the life. The parents try to push their own dreams on their children. Also children often think they ow their parents a lot. Because of this many children are depressed or killed theirself. You don't know how many are the same fate but I think a lot.

The night brought me advice and perhaps I understood why the mother ran away🥸. If we see when she learned that her daughter had lost her sense of smell and taste she became very worried. She probably feared that her daughter had caught Covid 🤒and so she told her to stay there (in quarantine) and ran off to get a swab to check if she had been infected. To be safe, she also remained in quarantine for a while 😷and this also explains why the clarification with her daughter took place after some time. And I thought she had acted in the wrong way, and instead she was forced to apply the covid protocol. An admirable mother🙄😒.

17:53 "...and apparently they were able to resolve all of the misunderstandings" What misunderstandings? The mother somehow imposed her dreams on her daughter without realizing that she was suffering from them. We have proof of this from his answers as he responds to Toru's findings. Toru has to work hard to make her see reason. In the end she is brought to reason, tries to apologize in some way to her daughter but then immediately leaves saying that they would talk next time. I wonder what she had to do that was so urgent that she had to run away like that, leaving her daughter with the doubt of having offended her, burdening her with further guilt. It seems like a while before the two sit down and work it out. Here too, what did the mother have to do? Was she really angry with her daughter because she wanted to stop her career and it took her time to cool off? Or did she feel guilty for forcing her daughter and didn't know how to make amends? Or was it the daughter who wanted not to address the issue? We will never know, unfortunately. The resolution of the problem with the mother was treated with a frame lasting approximately 10 seconds.

the thumbnail art looked funny but i was proven wrong as i watched this. this was good and funny until halfway in,it got dark with such realism over the dark industry in acting as things like that happens IN REAL LIFE. the art style and character design looks new. i never knew you can lose your sense of smell due to stress. i remember this one woman my eldest bro once dated and lived with (deceased now) had suffered a similar issue with i think her mouth and nose don't work due to a skateboard accident some time ago where after that incident, she could tell the difference when i was eating with the family one time before as she asked how did this and that taste like.

Although I did not have a barbecue that had happened in a similar incident in my past, I DID end up inadvertently catching a car on fire, thanks to the stupid advice of my ex-stepfather, who, by the way, COMPLETELY IGNORED THE RED FLAG WARNING that was in effect on that day, and then the d u m b f u c k had the nerve to blame ME for the fire that had happened in the brush burning barrel. Like, dude, you could have literally waited to do the task the next day or something, but NO, you just HAD to blame me for YOUR f u c k up, did you not? Anyway, please do not burn brush, or anything, on windy days, and especially when there are Red Flag Warnings that are in place, as they, especially combined with drought conditions, could lead to massive wildfires and casualties.
