What a wonderful, nice, wholesome story! The ethics of medicine are correctly portrayed, and the characters are more believable than in other manga.

Takishima is lucky that Akihiko lived up to his oath as a doctor never to harm a patient despite who they may be, but it's nice that he apologized for putting the blame on him and even though he offered him his job back it's nice that he rejected it to stay with Kaoru ☺️ and hopefully they end up together in the near future. 🥰

This was a really nice and wholesome story. 😊 Akihiko didn't let what Takishima did to him in the past cloud his decision to save his former boss' life, even after having blame dumped on him and being forcefully transferred. He was a true doctor who did his job and saved his patient's life. And Akihiko chose to stay by Kaoru's side instead of returning to his old job, hopefully the two can get together someday with how close they are. 🥰

MC is a better person than most of us. Despite all the things the boss had done to him, he still chose to save his life, even if he didn't owe him anything consider his harsh behavior. Still, it would be wrong to not save someone over a grudge. Even if they are vile... But anyways, the female doctor was pretty cute and looks like the kids know what's up. The MC and her will get together in time

Yeah not gonna lie, I would had done the same thing if I was the MC. I'm not the type of guy what would hold grudges on someone or get mad at someone. I'm just way too nice and gives people a second chance

punishment that turns into the best thing ever for this doctor. - Get a decent okay amount of money with minium paitents , plenty of free time, and an attractive lady who has the same amount of "free time" that he does. Pretty much the perfect life working maybe 2 hours a day accept in emergancies. Its like sending the guy on a permant vacation he also gets plenty of free time to write papers and thesis that advance medicine instead of practicing if he really wanted to. So in a way he was rewarded not punished. Okay his career might not progress or his money might have been reduced slighly (but he would still have enough to live on most likely as the village would be cheaper than a big city.) It might even work out he has more money not less.

11:36 The problem should not be whether the protagonist wants to return or not but the fact that a doctor who made a mistake serious enough to deserve a transfer was not punished. The fact that the boss is sorry does not mean that in the meantime he could not have repeated the mistake or done worse. Even guilt could lead to mistakes. The boss says he blamed him because he was envious. I hope that the error was not made for the same reason but was "causal". In the end, however, all was forgiven. The protagonist is happy in a suburban hospital and has also found sweet company. The boss who continues to work as if nothing had happened, perhaps even getting promotions or raises in the meantime.

It’s more of it’s a responsibility to do what you can for a patient no matter what feelings you have towards them. If you much rather see someone suffer like that then you’ll create the exact monster they want you to be, at least that’s how I feel in this matter.
