And now the two can be together forever, as their first loves now reunited at last.

#1 Wait 2 months before letting him meet again? it was just too bitter revenge for his forgetting about her. (and maybe the boy had forgotten about her only because when she was forced to change schools he was so shocked and traumatized that his brain erased the memory to go on living.) Maybe she was busy in the meantime or didn't expect it to be 2 months, but his friend saw how destroyed the protagonist was when he met him at the end of the meeting with the girl. And he didn't think of doing anything to try to cheer him up? The trip was supposed to lift his spirits but he returned home even more broken than before. #2 We don't know exactly how the friend has behaved with him in these past 2 months, but from how they talk to each other in the end it almost seems that he has left him without real hope. A "don't worry, you'll meet the girl again soon. I can't tell you more right now, but trust me." And instead he doesn't have to do the splendid at the end by presenting him "his first elementary love". #3 And how would this elusive final encounter have ended if the protagonist had met someone else in these 2 months? That given his state of mind he could have fallen into the arms of some gold digger interested only in his money. In this case, would the "artist" still be happy to have decided to punish the protagonist by not giving him the number, leaving him in agony for 2 months?

Since we don't see the ex's side of the story, I think it might have been the MC's fault. We see him interacting with 2 girls in this video, his ex and the other girl. Like the first time he interacts with the other girl, he's already flirting with her and asking her out on the same day. For all we know, that's probably how he interacts with other girls as well. If I was a girl and my bf talks to other girls the way this MC does, I would break up with them, too. I might even add that his initial response to his ex when she brought up the break-up reminds me of those narcissistic male characters in other manga videos who think their gf's are deeply in love with them and would never break up with them. But these are just my thoughts.

But my dad preferred Hank Jr's dad, as well as other artists like Flatt & Scruggs, Conway Twitty, Loretta Lynn, Bill Anderson, etc. I still have most of my parents' old LPs. For me, it was Tanya Tucker, the Statler Brothers, Alabama, Mac Davis, etc. Then, as I was exposed to more music as I grew up, my tastes expanded to include Rock, New Age, instrumental Jazz, Easy Listening, Rhythm & Blues, and Classical. I never developed a liking for Heavy Metal, Head Banging, or Punk, though, nor do I like Rap. I'm not fond of the experimental orchestral stuff from the early 20th century, either (it sounds like an orchestra warming up). It seems my tastes in such a wide variety in music was a help for the latest Music Teacher at my school, who had never heard of some of the stuff I'd bring up when we'd talk (the Music Room was next door to the Science Lab, my "domain," so we talked a lot). Thanks, man! You mentioning Hank Jr. brought back a lot of good memories. 🙂

A follow - up ought to be done here. Here's an idea, our MC proposes to his 1st love after a year of dating, 1 month after the proposal the ex - gf shows up at the apartment begging to be allowed to come back. The fate of Takuto's ex(let's call her Noriko): After Noriko broke up with Takuto, Noriko went to the man she was cheating with Takuto. The name of Noriko's boyfriend, was Daisuke. Noriko started dating Daisuke, despite still being in a relationship with Takuto. This is because Daisuke was the son of a president of a company. Also, the reason Noriko broke up with Takuto, was because she got pregnant. Of course Daisuke was the father of her child. But things didn't go as what Noriko planned. Turns out, Daisuke already has a fiancee. Daisuke dumped Noriko, after getting her pregnant. Noriko confronted Daisuke about this, but Daisuke denied being the father of Noriko's unborn child. Daisuke revealed that he went out with Noriko, just to play with her. Noriko is saddened by this. In her despair, Noriko decided to get back together with Takuto. Noriko plans to make Takuto the father of her unborn child. Noriko confronts Takuto and asked to get back together with her. But Takuto refuses, stating he has a girlfriend named Makoto. Noriko asked Takuto to break up with Makoto, but Takuto still refuses. Noriko left the scene I'm despair, but she won't give up on Takuto. Takuto contacts Shin and ask for help about Noriko. Shin agreed. The next day, Takuto,Makoto and Shin confronts Noriko. Shin revealed that Noriko was in a relationship with the son of a company president, named Daisuke. Shin also revealed that Noriko planned to make Takuto to be the father of her child. Noriko cried in front of the 3, and was asking _"what do I do"?_ Shin revealed to Noriko that Daisuke was getting married to his fiancee in 7 months. Shin hatched a plan to have the obviously pregnant Noriko, show up at Daisuke's wedding. After 7 months, Noriko showed up at Daisuke's wedding. Daisuke tries to deny, that Noriko was lying. Daisuke's fiancee, was crying because of Daisuke's betrayal. Daisuke's fiancee called off the wedding, due to being betrayed by Daisuke. Daisuke's father, was furious at Daisuke. Daisuke's father agrees to pay for wedding cancellation and for paying child support to Noriko. It became worse for Daisuke, since his ex-fiance is now demanding alimony. Daisuke's father is also paying alimony, and also took Daisuke's savings, in order to pay for the rest of the alimony. Daisuke's father has had enough of Daisuke's behavior, and put him on house arrest. Noriko is now using the Money she got as child support, to support her child. After 9 months, Noriko gave birth to a healthy boy. Daisuke's father keeps in touch with Noriko and her baby. Noriko became friends with Takuto,Makoto and Shin, after what happened with Daisuke. Noriko used the money for child support, to open a business to support her son, as a single mother. Noriko will someday find a man who will marry her. The end
