She's lucky, because playing around with someone else's feelings is a cardinal sin in interpersonal relationships. A lot of people would not have forgiven her or given her a second chance. I remember meeting a girl when I went to a new school in 7th grade who pretended to like me to make fun of me shortly after I arrived, and she got angry when I told her that I wasn't at all interested in her; I knew what she was doing and, in that moment, she seemed like the most disgusting person I had ever met and I told her as much.
