Suzune deserves a second chance. I think she became like that because of the way that her parents raise her. She even didn't know how to live a normal life until her parents left her because they messed up with a lot of debts. Good thing she met Tomoya and became a better person.

Karma really hit Kagari hard and it was a lesson for her. I’m pretty sure her parents spoiled her and she never had to work a dime and ways always dependent on her parents and bragging about how rich she is but everything came crashing down just like that and she had no where to go. She know now how it feels like to be poor and have nothing. What makes it ironic is that she was giving up but looking at the situation Higurashi was in before he he didn’t give up and worked hard to earn his living. It was kinda messed up of Kagari’s parents to just leave her with the debt and the loan sharks and the loan sharks made a valid point that she’s lucky Higurashi was there to help her otherwise things could have become much worse for her. I like how Higurashi was straight foward and told her how he felt about her honestly and made it clear that if she acts like a spoiled brat he’s done helping her. I never thought Higurashi was an influencer and I’m pretty sure he makes a good amount of money. I figured he would marry her in the end and that’s exactly what happened. Imagine if their kids ask how they met, that would be very interesting.

Or it was just her way of showing that she's rich and would offer 'the poor' some help by letting him work for her, in this case because they knew each other from their highschool days. But it was in such a way that it was degenerating and almost mocking him. The voice actress did it perfect by making it sound like she was scoffing at him. Hence the 'condecending cow' as a reply. So many different ways the character could've handled this, but she choose that way. That's why I love the turn around when the situations were reversed and he was helping her out instead, but on his conditions. And the change that she made, not looking down on poor people anymore due to being humbled herself.

I don't see how the roles even parallel at all. The male MC was just poor and has student debt to pay off cool it hard but actually do able and self inflected. Yea the rich girl as a bitch for teasing him i get that. Her situation was way worse for one it was completely out of her control and the debt wasn't payable. Moreover she was going to be sold into sex slavery drugged out for the rest of her short life because once you're no longer useful they kill you. MC freedom wasn't at wish nor was his life in danger.

Personally, I wanted to see Suzune's parents try to come back into her life at the end of the video, after the debt was paid off. But she and Tomoya would slam the door in their faces, stating that they don't deserve to be a part of her life anymore, not after abandoning her and leaving her with their debts. I so wanted to see them get their comeuppance, too.

Odds are, they're somewhere out there working their own nine to five. But maybe they'd need to cook for themselves at some point and all they could afford was fish but don't know how to prepare or cook it, so they'd go online to figure it out. Then by random happenstance, they find Suzune in Tomoya's videos and realize she's better off than either of them and they try to reconnect to maybe mooch off some of that inflencer moolah. But the more they try, the harder Suzune and Tomoya will slam the proverbial door in their faces.

I can understand the MC's feelings about working as a janitor after getting his college degree. When I graduated with my teaching degree, I couldn't get a teaching job right away. My state had been pushing teaching in college and recruiting teachers from other states so strongly that there were 2400 unemployed teachers in my state. So I ended up being a substitute teacher and working part-time as a pizza delivery guy (which I'd started to do in my senior year of college) until I could get a real teaching job. It was tough. I built up a lot of debt: student loans, credit cards, etc. I paid off the student loans, and I'm close to paying off my credit cards, after more than 20 years. Student loans suck! They're great for paying for college, but they're hard to pay off. Of course, the MC had it worse since he had that girl teasing him at work. I can't stand people who think they're better than others because of their jobs. Any job is a good job if it provides a living for you (and your family, if you have one). Janitor, maid, dishwasher, short order cook, waitress, garbage man, landscaper, handyman, secretary, ditch digger... it doesn't matter. They're all good jobs and the people who do them deserve the same respect given to doctors, lawyers, and CEOs. Another thing I don't like is how rich people look down on family restaurants and diners. Such places don't have 5 star chefs doing the cooking, but the food is good, often great, and the atmosphere at these places is usually friendly. Yet rich people think family restaurants aren't good enough for them. Grrr! When she started calling him mean and crying because she'd have to handle fish, just like anyone else who needs to cook fish, my first thought was, "This spoiled brat needs a spanking!" Just wait until she has to not only scale a fish, but also clean out its guts. Or handle a wiggly live octopus, a bug-like lobster, a spiky sea urchin, etc. Lol.

This story reminds me of a story in Manga Rabbit Homenoba , the story of Seita ( a janitor who got rich through investing ) and Reina ( the company CEO's daughter who always made fun of him ) . Both this story and that story on homenoba had a janitor and a company CEO's daughter who always made fun of him , but eventually , the girl needs to work as a janitor at the condo where the guy actually lives . The difference between two stories is one , in this story , the company of Suzune totally got bankrupt and went out of business while in homenoba story , Reina was able to save their company ( after Seita lend them 50 million yen ) , two , in this story , Tomoya is actually while Seita is actually an investor and three , Suzune got abandoned by her parents while Reina didn't , and they're still staying as a company . Also , I feel sorry for Suzune , bring abandoned while trying to pay the debt of her parents were really hard , and it's a billion yen , that's a ridiculous amount of money , good thing tomoya willingly paid that . And finally , I'm glad that they ended up as a married couple , and still the story got a happy ending .
