It always pissed me off when people said Midoriya cries too much. Like bro at the beginning of the series, Bakugo literally told him to kill himself, he finally met someone who believed in dreams (that being All Might), and once he finally got a quirk it was breaking his arms constantly. I agree with you and the only reason they say that is because they put themselves into Izuku's place and said: "he should have trained more." First, that's not in Izuku's character to do that as he only trained the first time of his life is when All Might trained him to be a suitable vessel for OFA. Second, he has Bakugo in his life who he looks up to and has no point in training BECAUSE of him. Like... are they even WATCH MHA or just for the power scaling?

I like that part of his character from the start because not only does it draw a line between Midoriya and pretty much every other character in the series, but it also differentiates him from many other shonen protagonists. Think some all time great protagonists like Goku, Luffy and many others, they have a borderline unshakable character right from the start, so to see a character be a bit more vulnerable is nice to watch

Yeah, if I obsessed over the fact that the primary antagonist of MHA in the final arc isn't Shigaraki, I'd probably not enjoy season 7. Even when praising it, I don't enjoy it as much as the ones that came before. The fact that Tomura Niisan isn't the Big Boss of the series still hurts me. He's a genuine gem and what made me fall in love with Uchiyama's voice acting talent. Plus, being a very well written character. All for One is effectively just a self-absorbed powerhouse, why did they do that to Shigaraki? At least the new season is good with amazing action scemes and Dabi still gets to be cool. But it's just not the same. Again, it's not bad by any means and I still enjoy it but now it feels like I lost something precious.

It's the way social media and social media algorithms work that are mostly to blame, cancel culture, drama, toxicity are almost always at the top of trending. It's like that CSM chapter with Denji where even the food he likes taste like shit. When you're surrounded by hate inducing rage bait media you start hating even on the things you like, because it doesn't hit as hard and as good compared to before you started getting rage baited. Naruto ending wasn't amazing, but it was done well compared to aot, and possible jjk. That's because there was an arc dedicated for an ending. These shows just end with 1 big battle, and thats just awful, considering they have lasted so long. Naruto had 700 chapters Bleach about 450 Jjk, about 270, could have had a good 5-10 chapters post sukuna defeat arc where things are concluded, and we get to see a glimpse of their future.

Honestly I thought Egghead was great all the way through. Easily one of my favorite arcs in the second half of One Piece. Shinjuku Showdown has its flaws but I still really enjoyed it. The only thing I disliked from the Akutabi Museum arc is the fact that a certain powerful character got killed off and I don’t know if that was the right move (I won’t say who but hopefully you have an idea), but aside from that it was an awesome arc.

Best way to get over an anime with an ending you hated is to find something else to watch instead - if you manage to find another series that captures your attention, focus on it and try to put the disappointing series out of your mind. If a series has disappointed you to the extent that you feel it wasted your time in the end, then imo it's better to just let it go and try to move on because no show - no matter how 'peak' others may consider it's ending to be and attempt to argue such to you - is worth wallowing pointlessly in bitterness and frustration over. If you feel a show hasn't respected your time and investment in it's characters or story, why waste anymore on it? I felt this exact way about the final season of AOT, but having seen both sides of the fandom collapse into pure toxicity after the ending came around, my frustration with the show gradually faded into disappointment. Seeing people argue endlessly in circles over characterisation and potential plot holes only convinced me further that - love it or hate it - the ending was a polarising mess, and one that really wasn't worth getting angry over or dwelling on in any capacity. Shortly after that, I started watching Jujutsu Kaisen, and through my enjoyment of that show I soon started to move on and forget about AOT and my prior investment in it.

Bad writing is bad writing tho. Thematic wise yuji sukuna writing was peak. But we dont even get to know the yuji domain name in the chapter , the sukuna end chapter is abruptly cut short and we skip to useless fun banter that is the major part of that chapter rather than sukuna chapter which is a MAJOR TONAL SHIFT and then there is the question if not dues ex nobara what was the plan gonna be? What was yuji's secret card that made him assured of the win? Not yet explained. I dont care if its just 3 chapters or the fight is done. When u leave things unexplained the writing sucks. Especially when u have time for endlessly expanding and explaining fight conditions and going balls to the walls with binding vows. I dont need to see the merger. But it would be very good writing to actually implement it more than just straightout cut away tengen and kenjaku abruptly from the story and make sukuna the main focus. Kenjaku was hoed and i dont care what anyone says that is deserving of criticism. Gege can write superbly as seen with the yuta gojo yuji storylines. But he is also very bad at writing as seen how nobara was taken out and put in appropriately at the needed moment. Gege literally hoed his women character. Maki got reduced to toji 2.0 Nobara became a plot device A bit of more yuki would have been required but thats a deaire not criticism so dont mind that. The hakari vs uraume stallfest is atrocious writing. Could be bc of gege schedule and health issues..but still a fair criticism Jjk is awesome but jjk is also very bad. Its not wrong to call it out. Its wrong when u call things out for the wrong reason. I blame one piece fandom for this as a one piece diehard fan. I've noticed that as a series is running, no hate whatsoever will be tolerated. But as a series is coming to an end, the fans turn on the series. The most prominent example of this has to jjk. Before, jjk slander was NOT tolerated. You have a completely valid critique? No you don't, you actually just don't have reading comprehension and you're a tiktok reader. But now that jjk is over, you can't open a comment section without seeing at least 10 different people say "Disney Kaisen" as if their fav isn't dead. I've seen people say jjk's ending is the worst ending of ALL TIME which is CRAZY. The ending was mid, but it was just mid. I wouldn't even call it BAD. It was just fine. And I've seen people say jjk as a whole was a 4/10, and that even a 6/10 is generous, which I genuinely cannot comprehend because they were the BIGGEST jjk d-riders literally 5 chapters ago. Now you can't even make a video talking about things you liked about jjk without people personally attacking you. Its just crazy, I don't get it.

Hate to break it to you but how the ending of an anime/manga will be is how the series will be judged. Fact is alot of newer series stories arent as good as some people want to believe they are with JJK coming out on top. Entire show is basically more about the side characters than it is about the main character and as soon as you get any meaningful story about them well they die. Gojo and friends is basically what the anime should be called since it revolves more about him than Yuji or anyone else for that matter. For MHA people felt betrayed with how the series started and how it ended so to me its natural that people are mad about it. sidenote i dont think that its bad for people to want some romance despite it being a shounen and you can write it well without having drama. Although to be fair the fujoshi shippings in MHA is another level but thats not something i think people were expecting.

The problem with JJK isn't so much that it has a bad ending but that so much has been left unexplained which is an objectively true statement. We have three chapters left and here are just some of the lingering questions: (SPOILERS!!) What actually is the merger? How did Kenjaku come up with it? What is the relationship between Tengen, Kenjaku and Sukuna? Kenjaku refers to Tengen as an old friend and it's explictly mentioned that Sukuna resembles Tengen's evolved formed. Why does Sukuna look the the way he does if he's human? Why does he have at least two distinct cursed technqiues? Did he physically merge with his twin and get his cursed technique? Why is he so powerful? Why did Kenjaku need a vessel that could 'control' Sukuna when they already had a vaguely defined binding vow? Why did Kenjaku specifically choose Yuji's biological mother? And what value was Yuji in the end considering Sukuna did not remain in Yuji's body and Kenjaku made no effort to ensure Yuji's loyalty to him?

I am an anime in Manga fan. And I've been once since I was a kid, and I have to say I find it surprising that so many people seemingly cannot enjoy a series for what it is. While some series should have some honest criticism, I think some people are being critical for the sake of being critical... Like they're trying to seem cool about dunking on a show they supposedly like without any constructive criticism. When I watch an anime and I enjoy it, I enjoy it for what it is. They were also sad that ochaco didnt kiss deku. And some were sad that the quirk singularity theory did not amount to anything. He did become no.1 hero. He became no.1 in the history books , to his friends , to the people who were involved in the war , to villains like spinner who see him at the reason for shiggy's demise and for the next gen of quirkless or uncool quirk kids. People took the rise they expected too literally and wanted deku to be a self insert. Also whej the mcdonalds meme went viral people who liked the ending saw that got frustated and insulted on behalf of the character they love and started reverse bashing.
