Damn I forgot about Toppu GP! Apollo mentioned that it was releasing a whiiile back in one of his videos and I thought it looked and sounded pretty cool. I've been told the recommended reading order for Devilman is essentially, to my understanding, the release order. There's the original Devilman manga, which is also getting an English release in 2018 (last I checked the release date for the first volume is March 8th), then Shin Devilman is a direct sequel, followed by Devilman Lady and I forget where exactly it fits in but Violence Jack is somewhere in the mix. Devilman G, on the other hand, was made to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the series, and while it's mainly a newer take on the story for a newer generation (it was serialized in 2012), I believe there's callbacks to other entries, so it's probably not a huge problem if you start with G as opposed to the original manga. I hope this shed some light on it for you. I definitely recommend reading up on Go Nagai, the mangaka behind it and plenty of other manga series, he's an interesting person imo :)

I've been slacking so hard on "Haikyu!!" and it's a shame because I absolutely loved the anime. 2nd volume of "Kakegurui" is where it starts getting pretty crazy and I'm imagining it getting even more crazy as more volumes come out. For series i'd like to see you do, probably Franken Fran, Corpse Party, Murcilago, and especially Ancient Magus Bride. For comics Bone, Scott Pilgrim, Henchgirl, and Black Metal would be great

Here’s some ideas: 1) Top 10 rarest/most expensive manga series or volumes in your collection (I forget if you made that video yet) 2) Which does it better, the manga or the anime? Compare and contrast series or scenes. (This would come off best if you were to splice in clips from the anime) 3) How to correctly read manga (Talking about text emphasis and location, panel size, transitions, etc. It would be ideal to showcase which manga got it right and which got it wrong) 4) More Top 10’s! Because those are good clickbait and attract people such as myself.

Since you asked for feedback for channel here are few ideas or opinions. Could you do a top 10 once a month on different manga genres, favorite series, favorites character, etc. Once a month, so it doesn't get over saturated. Could you also do manga recommendations and which mangas you don't recommend. Just use a disclaimer in those videos to avoid down votes from easily triggered people. Lastly could you do opinion videos about manga and anime every once in awhile. Personal opinion: change your intro, the song used is very dated and just feels too different from your personality and content (not hating, just my opinion). Other than that, I love the manga haul and I look forward to your next video.

Devilman is a classic by go nai! Highly recommend the older series. The title you picked up is apparently a new fresh take on the story we all know. Famous director Maasaki Yuasa is also making a new Devilman series for Netflix. Nisiosin is a great writer! He's also written the infamous Monogatari series. Tbh, I don't really care for Tg in general. Good concepts but the themes and the storytelling is too disjointed in favor of shock value. Re started out interesting but it's fallen back on old habits.

Since you are trying to get into more light novels I would definitely recommend "The Empty Box and Zeroth Maria", and maybe you could do a review on it. It's the #1 rated light novel on myanimelist and it really is amazing. The first volume came out like a week or so ago.

Sweet, I didn't even know that Devilman G is being published in english. I'm shocked you've never read the OG Devilman, it inspired so many things, like Berserk. When it's being released in english you should try the original, you can see it's age, but it's still a good read. :D

I believe your viewers should be more grateful for your work as youtuber so thank you for this video, Insidious. As for the video itself, my idea would be to give a helping hand to the people who buy the manga you recommend and that would make you always have new viewers because these people would bring their friends and so on. Later this month, I'm going to buy the manga "I Am a Hero" and I'll start my collection until I try to keep up with the releases. Try to pay more attention to manga with adult content because you know that is the most underrated manga. Keep up with the good work and I hope you understand what I was trying to say back then. I just want to see unique videos from you. I don't want recycled topics with no new ideas just to get your perspective on it. I personally don't care when you upload as long as it's something that can be useful to me in some way. Manga hauls are great because I'm usually exposed to at least one new title or something I have considered before. First impressions on series nobody is talking about are great (for the same reason). Stuff like your Berserk video which gave a new perspective on a topic that wasn't new was really good. I personally don't like top lists of any sort, but others seem to like them so maybe that's a good and easy idea. I don't like it because it's extremely low effort and doesn't reflect anything to anyone as it's YOUR top 10. Doesn't make it anyone else's. I'd rather you make a video on each series separately so I can decide which is worth my time without having the "top 10" bias hurt my judgement. I'm a human after all; my brain can't NOT pay attention to that :/ So yeah, just w.e you are passionate about. Asking the fans what they want is not that great because usually we don't know what we want. Looking forward to future content :]

Yeah I think matte is a good way to describe it. However, its just a bit more glossy than that. Which is why I said it felt "waxy". Also, I used to have Case Closed in my collection but after 2 volumes I just didn't get into it. So I sold off the volumes a while back.

You should to like an underground manga videos, like rather than talking about liie big name mangas talk about some unknow well ones, and show how the art is in the manga and everything, if you liked it or not. I think that would be a nice video to watch and shows people more manga to read rather than them getting recomended the same series over and over gives them something new to read! I guess alot of one shot volumes is a nice way to start, shows people alot more stories out there. Like stargazing dog, some tezuka volumes, stuff like that you know!

Haha. Well I use bookmarks to keep track of the series I'm currently reading on my shelf. But in terms of storylines, all of that I keep inside my head. It's honestly not the method I'd recommend, lol. Also, myanimelist.net has also helped with keeping track of series I'm currently reading.

Well from what I've read of both Toriko and Claymore, I'd say Toriko is clearly a better series. Now, this is just an opinion, but I've always thought Toriko is a VERY underrated series for how good it actually is. It does start off a bit slow, but picks up not too long after that.
