I liked this story, and I liked the ex (which is rare in these kinds of stories). She realized she fucked up, and honestly thought she was helping him. Then after everything was revealed, she didn't try to get back with him (not sure if Fujiwara's actions decided that though), but really honestly felt bad and wanted the best for him. Not really, given the Male MC was acting (or to say) wanted to hang out with his best friend, he did not properly talk with her the reasons and/or the intentions behind it. He did not tell her (during the time) when they were dating. The audio was not really fabricated, it was said is true, no cut words stringed together, it was a piece of it that "may" implied as such.

@@doublem3585 Without knowing in detail, because the story doesn't give us more, Masaru prioritize his friend rather than his girlfriend (the scene where he told her that he was going out for drinks with Takahiro AFTER Aya invited him to dinner). That doesn't mean he must be a simp and obey her "commands" whenever she wants to, but still. And also, he kept quiet about the disrespectful behaviour of his college, didn't talk it with Aya one bit because he "was afraid of ruining the workplace and her work". Ridiculous. Those were the mistakes he made.

It's nice to see after some time, another "EX with brain" story. Usually stories like this end up with the EX "begging for getting back together, and then thrown into hell for GOOD", but instead she ends up on admitting the OWN mistakes IN TEARS (because was she did was horrible, given she didn't even ask the MC about his friend properly) and then she got redemption. I didn't like though, when the MC said "It's my fault for naming too many time my friend", as if doing that it's like if you're telling "Me and him are in a relantionship"...and the worst thing, was that SHE ASSUMED that instead of asking...and that was IDIOTIC (and if she REALLY loved him, she would have trusted him...but looks like in the end, she really didn't trust him...). Anyway, I'm glad the police got involved and arrested the true antagonist...and yeah, I also hope to see more stories like this one.

After that: After he was released from prison, He tried taking revenge on the MC by stealing his current GF but that backfired as she knows what he truly is and then tried to get physical with the MC but then MC was able to beat him down. Later on he got a call from his 'ex wife' and met up with her but then it was someone else and he ended up falling into a honeypot scheme where the gangs extorted money from him and beat the crap out of him. He ended up in debt from the scheme and tried going for rich girls using his smooth talk but he got beaten down and ended up in even more debt. He finally was able to get a rich girl but she is also a manipulative woman and lured him in thinking that she is rich but she ended up taking him in and controlled his life. This girl is a full yanedere. She is going the same with him as what he did with his ex wife but worst.

Great story, i am glad that in the end Ayu and Masaru didn't get back toghter, Haruka is the right choice. Tough i feel sorry for Ayu: it's true that she made a huge mistake when she decided to break their relationship, but the real one at fault is that jerk manipulative liar who deceived her. At least Ayu was mature enough to admit that she doesn't deserve Masaru anymore after what she did, so i wish her to find happyness with another man. This poor woman (Aya) and the MC were manipulated by a narcissistic, criminal scumbag and your all calling them dumb or implying that they kinda brought it on themselves. How many of you are religious or have fallen to peer pressure? Most humans are evolutionary and socially predisposed to fallowing charismatic Alpha-type personalities, that's how cults (like all religions are) start. This is especially true for homogeneous cultures like Japan. Could you honestly say that if you had been in Aya's shoes and faced with seeming evidence that you wouldn't have at least talked to your partner to confirm it? I just couldn't like this story, not because its isn't good (as I find a lot of these KZbin manga) but rather because it is TOO good. You know...this plot was going so well. The whole plot and writing was doing well. Until the MC starts blaming himself. Why can't stories go hard on women? Brittney,if you're out there,nice to see you doing these parts you're playing! keep it up! also,your advice in the end reminds me who most female vo's (and sometimes the male vo's) would give their intake on the story on this channel clips like sekai no fushigi would do on every story made there.

I never thought I would see that happening though it was very stupid of her to break up with him over a misunderstanding thinking he is gay with his best friend but at least she regretted it and realizes how dumb it was of her, and Saikoba probably is the dumbest one of all he creates a misunderstanding by secretly recording Masaru and his friend Takahiro to break him and aya up so he can get with her and did all this just to rub it in masaru's face and upset him, wow so dumb and a jerk move even was controlling aya he got what he deserved in the end, even loved that aya gave fujiwara her blessing to go after and date Masaru hopefully they become a couple in the future.

the problem is that Aya came right back into his life after the clarification. The protagonist clearly still has strong feelings towards her. Having her around every day could create problems for him. The relationship between the protagonist and Haruka is unclear. She's clearly interested in him, but how does he feel about her? Aya tells Haruka to take care of Masaru but then she goes back to his daily life. Are we sure that with her around the possible story between Masaru and Haruka can be born and advance? There is the risk that Aya will ruin Masaru's love life again by not wanting him to take the step towards Haruka. She should have waited until their history was more solid before returning. #2 But if we see it was Takahiro who brought it. Maybe is it true that he is interested in the protagonist and this was his move to ensure that Haruka can't take him away from him?

The way it was worded, she didn't cheat on him. He tricked her and she dumped the MC cause she thought it would make him happy to be with his lover. The jerk didn't even try to go after her until he quit and she was single. She should have talked to him, but from the looks of it, she was extremely faithful otherwise. Even when they met again, she tried to be super friendly and was genuinely happy to see him and his "lover" together. The only bad thing about her was she didn't even consider she was being tricked, cause the MCs actions (seemingly talking about or hanging out with his friend a lot, instead of her) and the out of context recording made her thing she was really trying to help him. Then after everything was revealed, she knew she screwed up, but took her loss and didnt try to get back with the MC, which is a big + in my book.

It's literally the major part of japanese manga-novel industry. They know what makes their audience tik in Japan. It doesn't work so well in the western society since our tongues aren't in our buts, for the most part it's exclusively Japanese thing. Even koreans and chinese don't have problems like that.
