To all parents including step parents When kids are in depressed What they need is not someone to be strict to them in order for them to get strong That kids can neither become inferior or be strong but iced heart like the MC They need is someone who would support them accepts even at their worse If the kids know that there someone who will always be there for them, they won’t fear try improvise themselves and work harder Because even if they failed, they can always stand up again with the help of people who they know they can trust The step mother may have well intentions, but she did it the wrong way, if it wasn’t for the FMC, the MC might have lived with his life with his heart covered with ice I’m glad that the FMC helped the MC so much, not only she melted the ice of the MC, but also the ice wall between the MC and his step mother 😊

Yep, you need to teach your kids that you'll keep them safe so they can explore the world and themselves. Not teach them that they need to be defensive even when they should be safe to explore.

While it is nice that she cared for him and his father, she really could've used some parenting lessons. Yes she's not solely responsible for him shutting himself off from the world (most of that would be people wanting to be near him for money) she really didn't help things. With all that, he would've wanted some motherly love. But instead he got an overbearing stepmom that couldn't show him anything other than strictness. And some might say "Oh, but he learned about her true personality." Yes, from an third party. Had they not been there, he would've never learned of her true behavior until after she's gone if that.

I'm glad Touma's stepmother wasn't exactly mean or evil, she was just strict. She wanted what was best for him, even making a promise to both of his late parents. She could have been a little less strict though. But at least she helped Hinako and Touma get together and helped melt the ice in Touma's heart. This was a pretty emotional story, but one I'm glad had a happy ending to it.

People say if family is really strict it's because they love you and want you to succeed... I never felt that way, I had a really strict grandfather that would constantly belittle my parents and always keep an eye on my schooling, I disliked the man all the way until his death a couple of years ago.

Well it's nice that his stepmom married his dad and was looking out for him to keep the promise she made to his late mother but she could have at least been a little bit less harsh on him but then again she did act as Hinako and Touma's Matchmaker.🥰

In truth she has always loved him until his heart has melted for her and finally asked her to marry him. Her step mother was so happy 😊. Love is great ❤🌺🥀💐🌹

Raising good people takes a little strictness. If you have kids, remember, you're not there to be their friend. You are there to be their parent and guide them. Sometimes that doesn't come off as the most living or caring, but it's necessary because the world is a big mean place. Being their friend is a bonus.
@darthbiker23116 күн бұрын
That wasn't "a little." And yes, guiding someone doesn't always mean that they'll like you, it can mean hurting them to keep them along the straight and narrow path if you will, but you must never inspire them to hate you. That's only possible through honest communication, which that stepmother severely lacked.
@kingtai20058 ай бұрын
Aftermath: Touma and Hinako got married and his step mother apologized for for being strict towards him and starts crying and he accepted it, but walking away giving her the taste of her own medicine. Touma went to therapy with stepmom and Touma made her cry after saying insulting things about her and starts playing with her emotions and she tells him that’s she’s sorry again and she told not be strict like her and never be on her path. Touma accepted her apology again but this time he realized she changed. And then they work things out. Touma and Hinako had a 2 sons. Raise them better not as strict parents but also as loving parents who helps and supports their children.

I'll going to be honest here. But the stepmom is at fault. She is a great woman and cares about the MC and wants the best for him. But she failed to become a mother. If she could've been more soft and honest, Things would be different for both of them(MC &stepmom). If she would've give her shoulder to the kid and told her "I'll be there for you" things would be much better. MC is a good boy. Although he was on bad terms with his stepmom he still's care about her. If she treated him like a son the life would be so easy for both of them. How should I say, she trained him not raised him feel me. He must be so lonely, he must have so much shit going in his life after his mother and father death, its sad actually. I feel sad for stepmom also, she must've tried but failed. But now things are fixed and its a great thing. But still stepmom should've better.
@darthbiker23116 күн бұрын
Toma should have demanded explanations the day he saw that b*t**h of a stepmom and the girl she's pimping for at the cemetery. He never caught a break since his mother died. His stepmom was a bully whose idea of a life lesson is to throw him into the fire and see how he crawled out of it himself. His dad was almost never there either. If that's how Toma was supposed to learn then he might as well grow up alone - life itself would be a better teacher anyway. Now stepmom is playing Chieftest Mourner. If she ever cared for Toma like the forced drama at the end is supposed to convey, then at the very least she should have bossed him into visiting the grave with her. But not only was there no explanation on how mom and stepmom were related, but her relationship with Toma made the atmosphere so awkward that Toma had to hide from his own mother's grave.
