Mangaia Eclipse 2010

Hahahaha....Sue's last name is Ngatokorua, she's my brother Peter's wife...glad you all had a great time on Mangaia.The island may not have much to offer apart from it's rugged beauty but the people are warm and welcoming, they treat strangers like family...Thank you for this clip...God Bless

That was a fun trip. The cloud cover was disappointing, but the trip was still worth it. I did get to see the green flash when the sun set, and now that I've seen the 2017 eclipse here in the states I'm not so bummed about missing it on Mangaia.

I am glad I choose the Cook Islands to see the eclipse, even if I had known of the eclipse's outcome. I will always remember the beauty of the islands and the hospitality of the islanders. Even the chickens helped with our wake-up call.
