I am sorry John! I haven’t travelled beyond Gundya towards Sakleshpur recently. From Gundya to Mangalore, it is not so bad except at Kalladka. In case you choose to travel after talking diversion at Gundya and continue via Dharmasthala it is would be better to reach Udupi.

Unresolved land acquisition & compensation disputes in Kudupu & Bikarnakatte area are the main reasons for not having a take off from Kulshekar end of nh169 .!
