Just when you think the Chimera Ant arc couldn’t be topped. Togashi is an incredible visionary and the Succession War and Dark Continent arcs have virtually unlimited potential. Also, I really hope we get to see Chrollo vs Hisoka animated someday.

Hunter x Hunter came back at the perfect time for you and in my opinion is an upgrade on the decent, but watered-down version of other manga classics that JJK is. If this arc actually finishes and has a satisfying conclusion, Togashi is THE greatest author in manga history. This arc has so many relationships, powers and stakes at play but still feels easy to follow if you have the patience. I’d be okay with it being the last arc of the show because it’s truly a magnum opus of just how amazing a power system nen is and how gifted a character writer Togashi is.

I wonder if Kurapika will end moving up from Nostrade Family boss to a member of the Kakin royal family. I don't see Nasubi coming out of this alive, and given his interactions with queen Oito, he seems like he could easily wind up as Woble's step father. It's also nice to see some of the old faces return too. Bisky, Melody, Basho, and Hanzo are great additions. I honestly never expected to see Hanzo again. Considering he was already a deadly shinobi before learning Nen, he's got to be a beast now; I hope we see more of his abilities. I'm hoping nothing awful happens to Melody; she was always so sweet. As for Bisky, she looks really cute in a suit.

Quick clarification, Hisoka didnt get a power boost after he resurrected. Thts a common misconception. Post mortem nen only lingers around after and during a state of death. The power boost in question only applies to the nen/curse that activates afterwards. Hisoka is alive thus his nen is just back to normal. His injuries however, forced him to apply his ability in new ways which we got a glimpse of when he killed Kortopi and Shalnark and making prosthetic limbs by combining Bungee Gum and Texture Surprise.
