I made Jimins receipe for jam 2yrs ago which was delicious. This year I have 4 trees bearing and had to refresh my memory how to make the jam.Fortunately he popped up as I was searching. Cant wait to start.

Made a batch of this jam, liked it so much made a second batch with habanero peppers. It was next level with the hit of spice, I am going to add it to vanilla ice cream. I water canned my jam, so I leave it in my pantry. Ty so much for the recipe.

Great recipe. I viewed many, and set myself on this. I tried it. Turned out amazing. I added 2 more ingredients. 1) VERY tiny piece of ginger, ground wth the apple. 2) a FEW drops of Red liquid color. It gave my jam a lovely yellow/reddish hue. Thank you.

I made this jam Thank you it turned out beautiful I shared my jam with friends in a little town in Nayarit Mexico where I live now on a ranch with many mango trees and guayabas,papayas, lemons,cactus,and cactus fruit ,plums,figs,bananas,it’s amazing to be surrounded with so many edible fruits my mom use to make jams in my young years as I watched her make jam for us I learned her way to make it . I was curious to learn other ways to make it.

Tried it out a while..loved the colour and the taste ..added little more sugar ,as I had a lots of Desi mangoes which were not that sweet..I usually make jam in a rice cooker ,this time made in a pan..rice cooker is hassle free..Now waiting to serve jam to my grandchildren.☺.I loved the logical explanation too.Thank u Varun

Thank you for this delicious jam recipe. I added a few pieces of starfruit (five fingers), some passion fruit juice and a piece of peeled ginger to the mangoes before blending. I had to strain this mixture as I used fibrous mangoes, but that was much easier than I expected.

You were scientifically thorough about the ingredients. This is how I like my information. I always wanted to know about using pectin and additional sugar in jam. I seem to be less tolerant of sugar as I get older. Would the product spoil if you did not add sugar or would it just reduce the shelf life? Thanks for sharing.
