I need something like this 25% of the power & 25% of the price. $3699. Ouch.

Nice video. I see a lot of potential for off grid applications, especially for running multiple appliances in an off grid cabin, or RV living as a backup to propane RV generator. How long does it take to fully charge this mango to full capacity using your Honda generator? Thanks a lot!

Probably can supply a small window a/c & a full sized fridge for hurricanes in florida?

My guess is in order to run any kind of AC unit or ongoing loads you would have to add battery Banks which are very expensive also you would have to add more solar panels to charge them unless you've got money to burn this would be cost prohibitive

You can easy run the fridge but the ac is another thing over long time

Thank you for the kind words, Chris! I completely agree with you, it's great to see a detailed review that covers all the important features. By the way, if you're into outdoor activities like camping or RVing, I highly recommend checking out the Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series. It's packed with impressive features like a massive 5kWh capacity, fast recharging, and waterproof technology. It's definitely worth considering for your outdoor adventures!

That charging death lead is a huge problem. Why didn't they put a male socket on the unit then a female plug on the charging lead? Surely that would have made more sense. Unfortunately direct sales to the end user means it's easy to not adhere to electrical safety compliance imposed by individual countries, although a lead like that would surely be illegal in every country. I imagine they'll be changing that design very soon, or at least the lawsuit from when it kills someone will force them to. Seems like an excellent product otherwise.

Best To mark cable at the solar end with something you recognize like any color electrical tape around the cable by the connector. to remember - "Always plug solar generator end in first and then the AC connection end."

Great review as always, but honestly I’d prefer to get a generator. You can get a pretty nice Honda for $3700

Thanks and true. Definitely a lot more bang for your buck with gasoline

That's true, but if you are not running a ton of appliances at same time to maximize the price you pay to run a generator, your burning ton of gas for nothing. Kinda wasteful. With this battery, you run the generator for an hour and then run bunch of appliance half a day, then repeat. Guess all depends on your needs and applications.

these always look so useful, id honestly use this if not daily at a minimum weekly, i do construction work and whenever i have a lul in jobs im out in the woods taking on silly projects, or offroading, building on sites with no power.. be great to run a little 110v welder that pulls 1800 watts, and charge up some milwuakee batteries on the go, 3500WH should charge atleast 10 good size M18s always so pricey though, over $5000 canadian.. even that little charging cord shown in the video is $120 seems 1USD per WH is the industry standard i dont think i could justify more than 25 cents er WH so that probably means they wont be in my price range for a decade, amazing how many companies are popping up to produce these though, there must be a wild profit on them seems theres a new company everyday and they all just fire them out to youtubers to review

Check out, The 8-Bit Guy, he just recently did a review on a Battery Bank setup with Solar, that's able to produce 240 Volts. He's using it as supplementary power for his Studio, that has I think two high mount air conditioners and computer equipment.

so it has a 30 amp 120 volt RV Outlet how many solar panels would it take to actually run a 30 amp RV
@NNKH2
@NNKH2 Жыл бұрын
You wouldn't be pulling 30 amps the entire time through the outlet
@MikeDPlxztc

@@NNKH2 no of course not but the question is how many amps will it continually maintain could you run an RV air conditioner for instance Non-Stop and then another Appliance small Lights TV Etc at the same time that would be normal RV operation

not sure if you will see this comment but in case you did not know a bar of bath soap will plug an active gas leak. might make a cool quick video. I have used Zest bath soak. not sure if other bar soaps will work.
