First Mangrove Eco-Park in Saudi Arabia: Now open in Eastern Region
Located near Ras Tanura, Aramco’s New Mangrove Eco-Park is not less than a Natural Wonder on the Eastern Coasts of Saudi Arabia.
The Eco-Park is the first facility in the Kingdom dedicated to the preservation of mangrove forests, which provide critical buffer zones between land and sea as well as breeding and nursery grounds for various marine life.
The 63-km2 Mangrove Eco-Park protects one of the last naturally occurring mangrove forests in the Eastern Province and features the longest mangrove boardwalk in the Kingdom.
Visiting Hours:
9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Tuesday to Sunday.
Park is closed on Monday for visitors
Entry Fee:
Free entry to the park for all ages. Onsite parking is available.
Other Facilities:
Telescopes are also setup on upstairs for birds watching.
A coffee shop is located near the entrance of the park.
