Mangwanani namanheru is a shona catholic song taken from the prayer to the sacred heart.
Composed by Fr Alex Mapfuti. Sang by the Chishawasha evangelists choir which is a combined select choir of students from St Ignatius college and St Dominics high. Both schools come from Chishawasha valley in Zimbabwe. The two schools combine the Jesuits (st Ignatius) and Dominicans (St Dominic’s) the pioneers of Catholic faith in Zimbabwe. Both schools come top in catholic music competitions.
