Mangwon Market Stroll (망원시장) Seoul, South Korea

Mangwon was not the first market we went to in Seoul. Market hoping is one of the many things that was on our list to do after watching @KaraandNate @KieunChoi videos about Seoul. I am so grateful for their videos as while we did go to the #Netflix famous market; the Mangwon market (망원시장) was (in my opinion) was what I was hoping for but didn’t experience at the Gwangjang Market (Netflix Market).
It had a lovely local vibe. Selling everything from clothing to street food. My favourite sections was where they were roasting and grinding various seeds and grains into flours. The smell was amazing. It was here that we had our first taste of Hotteok a street food delight of fried pastry stuffed with seeds, nuts, spices, and sugar. I was hoping to have more of the ambient sounds, but I was raving about the taste of Hotteok (hehehe).
I wish we would have had more time to hang out here, but we had a baseball game to get to.
