As a center-left professor, I cannot agree more with Rufo's analysis of the current state of academia. Well said - I hope we can correct things in the near future!

I hope Rufo has videos posted on KZbin of the classes his new college produces. Conservatives need to understand intellectually what we sense emotionally. We need to be informed in order to support our beliefs.

The problem with radical left progressim is the way conservatives accepted 10 years ago small steps that in time became giant leaps into an insane reality. It started with gay marriage, into gay adoption, into transexualism, into gender ideology, etc etc. What happened in the last 10 years has to teach us that we cannot move an inch to the radical left progressism. A inch will become a Mile in a blink of an eye. Now we are at a point were its going to be painful to sort this all out. And sort it we must.

It started with anthropogenic global warming, AGW - 36 years ago. Not gay marriage. Some of the first academics cancelled in academia were scientists studying climate change who were, basically banned from publishing in academic journals, and, under Al Gore's vice presidency, banned from recieving governement grants to study climate. BWT: I'm no supporter of gay marriage.

Chris has very accurately described the state of Seattle in his introductory remarks. No exaggeration there. We need to stop talking each other down and let best arguments prevail.

Please - link us to your alternative video which gets to the point with more expedition. It's an interview. The story of the deep far left state is actually a long and complex one.

He’s a very good speaker and incredibly effective because he’s not a performative rage merchant like so many on the right - eg Tucker Carlson - and argues his opponents in a way that shows he genuinely understands their positions.

Chris you're good at diagnosing problems but a little short on what to do about them. Also your answers to questions are pat and formulaic. Our issues as a civilization are immense and completely transcend politics. Were facing a series of interlocking crises which are mutually reinforcing---the meaning crisis the authenticity crisis the mental health crisis the political crisis the environmental crisis and so forth. But when you can see beyond the lies and illusions of your culture as i can, you would know at bottom that our problems are core cognitive cultural spiritual and psychological dilemmas which will prove to be immensely difficult to solve

"What Happens When a Carnival Barker Writes Intellectual History"
@andysturges3979 Жыл бұрын
Debunk him then. You should easily find the hard facts that show a barker is mistaken. Whats that? Your entire movement has no facts? You make your policies based on how you feel? Research to you is a waste of time because the groups emotions have already determined reality? Yes. This is the mindset of those who oppose Chris. Then you have to prevent the public from finding this out by labelling your opponents as "barker". Or killing their social media life. Or getting them fired to prevent the facts from getting out.

Fascism is a left wing, big government system, one that colludes with big business. National Socialism was the German name for it. Modern Democrats are basically fascist, minus the patriotism.
