It's the student loan business model. That's why all this is happening. I know this first hand because my girl was going through it. She was 80k in the hole with student loans but makes 150k a yr. Women can brag about making a high salary but still live in a 1 bedroom apartment and can't afford a house. That's why most Boss Chicks brag about their money but reject you. I'm 29 and currently in the 75k range knocking on 85k after taxes. I could say I make six figures but after paying $1600 a month in taxes which is roughly 19k-20k I can't and it's still expensive out here. I enjoy being overseas more because my money goes further. I'm American but the States is just too expensive and I live in the South.

Both in the Diaspora and on the continent, we have adopted or been forced to inhabit someone else's stereotype of us, and become the figments of someone else's imagination. And then lament that we aren't able to keep those chains imposed on us from the outside. Not true, my ex-wife made more money than me and yet I still paid all of the bills. She used her income for savings and trips that we took throughout the year. So I didn’t have a problem at all with her making more money than me, because she invested it back into the household.
