How different does James look on motorcycle emptiness. They always sound so doubtful about themselves but they are about as talented as a band can be. Proves they are the real deal. very real awesome people

Nixon's one of my favourites of theirs too, lovely to see it mentioned in a list like this!

I don't know what their best songs would be but I think the best albums are Generation Terrorists, The Holy Bible, Everything Must Go and Journal For Plague Lover's.

Songs must be like " lovers" or " children" to the writer. So the band can't be subjective on this, I think.... Commercial / Critical opinion must play a part.... Most bands, when promoting the latest CD, always say that this is the best work yet..... But the Manics aren't most bands......

this is my truth wasn't bland. Some sensational songs on that album, black dog, be natural, manics being too harsh on their work !

They did say "supposed blandness" so maybe they're talking more about opinions they heard than opinions they hold?

Makes sense. Still weird... Everything else was with the actual years.

I thought that for a longtime but the more I listened to it the more appreciative I’ve become. In fact I’m very much looking forward to the reissue tomorrow.
