Great reaction!! I love how the series expands & improves upon the books. Changing time periods & Louis’ race was the best decision! Changing premise of the show to a 2nd interview with older, experienced Daniel which also establishes a pre-existing history (adding a bit of antagonism from the trauma to that mortal interviewer) is *chef’s kiss* ❤ Daniel is an understated character but-to me-he’s mvp. At the same time, my absolute *favorite* character is someone you’ve yet to meet hehe

I hear ya on religion, Sis. Louis triggered me with that confession. I fell into despair in my 20s and ran to confession. The priest flat told me that the suicide I was contemplating was a sin against Jesus and that I would burn in eternal hell. Next day I was in ICU with my throat slit (trach tube) and well on my way out...but I'm still here to tell it.

I didn’t think that was snow or pollen, I thought it was cotton. I live in WA and certain times of the years cotton is floating everywhere and it looks like the fall upside down. Also, I thought Lestat had a direct hand in killing Paul until another reactor said that because Paul is mentally ill and overly religious, Lestat entering his mind at the dinner probably made him feel violated. Like his temple was tainted since he allowed the devil to enter his mind. Louie was fascinated by it which shows how completely different their mindsets are too.

Hey HAMAsexuals! We ready for season 3!!! Don’t forget about Anne Rice’s other baby, ‘Mayfair Witches’! They’re in the same universe, the same town actually as the Witch comment between Grace and Paul referenced the Coven. But there are no Marvel level crossovers. And Anne Rive has stated that Lestat had nothing to do with Paul’s death.

@@spiritofloveipi4804 Firstly, these characters and stories are decades old, as are Anne Rice’s comments. Secondly, Paul’s death isn’t some grand mystery spanning the chronicles. Nothing in my comment spoils nor does it reveal preferential character sentiment one way or another. It is a statement of fact the writer thought was important to share with readers. Supplementary context meant to enhance one’s viewing experience.

Enjoyed your reaction. With unaliving yourself, it's actually a catholic held belief that it's a mortal sin but there no actual biblical text to support that. The Bible says blessed are the poor in spirit for there's is the kingdom of God which translates blessed are the depressed because heaven is their home. We can't help if we suffer from mental illness and God knows that 👍🏾
