Maybe a bit more clarity on a few points. Like can the dead passengers that died from murder etc that also came back with them, do they understand or have knowledge of the world almost ending? Will all the members that we’re connected in terms of helping with the callings, outside of the plane, like Vance, remember 1 day? Will Cal/Olives/Wife? Anyone connected to them? If not…do they tell them, try to explain or just move on without trying to say anything & sounds crazy? Like when Mick calked Zeke, her husband & he thought it was a pickup line, not truth. BUT overall this was an amazing ending to right the wrongs done.

There were 11 people missing, including the pilot. I could see them bringing Vance into it. They know so much about him, it might convince him. But most importantly, they have to repeat their assignments in 5 years! Or do they want to let the child trafficking ring, kidnappers and murderers all get away this time?

At first, I wasn't a big fan of the ending, but in this case it made sense and it worked because, based on everything we know from the show, the passengers should have died that day. They thought they were cursed and thought of everythnig they went through as a sacrifice, but in reality they were blessed with a second chance at life. I would have liked for the show to do a fast foward and show all the happy endings in the present day, but there's enough there to atleast hint at what their new future would look like.

Well, knowing that there's only 4 seasons instead of 6 and that they had to make the 3 supposed last seasons ( 4, 5, 6 ) into one ( the actual season 4 ) makes me understand everything. Like, why is it going so fast, why can't we have more or this or that...

As the years pass by, the age difference won't make much of a difference then. I believe they are now 7 years apart at most? When she's 21 and he's 28, my head cannon is that they'll find their way romantically to each other again. My spouse and I are roughly that many years apart too. Even if TJ and Violet end up dating for several years, that doesn't necessarily mean they are each other's end game. (I certainly dated, and even fell in love, with a couple people before I finally ended up with my end game.) Maybe by then, Olive will be old enough and they can have the future that they worked so hard to achieve for themselves.

I just completed watching the finale episode of the series and this whole show isn't getting off my head. Amazing performance by the actors. My personal favourites are cal, Ben, Zeke, Anjelina and Eagan. The show wouldn't have been this amazing if there wasn't Angelina's character or someone else had played it.

There are sweet parts to this ending, but I'm also sad for the loss of relationships and memories. TJ now has no connection to them. Vance doesn't know them at all. Saanvi minimally. Jared too. And the loss of memories by those who grew a lot from the experience is too bad. Sure Olive and Cal have their childhood back, but they also don't know the ways they were enriched by the challenges. No memory of solving puzzles and working on a big team. Jared has no memory of the connections he made too. The challenge was hard, but also gave them character and enriched them. And now all that is gone.

I very much agree with you on all this and I feel this particular ending has actually a lot loose threads that could have been explored in potential future seasons. I read in an article that the show's creator had pitched a 6 Season storyline to NBC back when the series was starting. Based on everything I've seen in this finale, Season 5 can begin with the mystery of the 11 missing passengers from 828 and the NSA once more rounding up all the passengers to investigate what happened, because in no scenario does that go unnoticed. Also there's a deleted scene where Captain Daly is back and Vance sees him get disintegrated like the Angelina platoon, so that way the Major will most likely come into play as she'd be still alive in this timeline. Furthermore there's evidence to suggest that the passengers travelled to a parallel universe because they remember everything, Ben still has the Dragon figurine and Saanvi has the gunshot wound. So technically, the world from 2024 they came from, still exists and is doomed with Jared, Drea, Olive, Eden, Hope, Vance all still stuck there. Just to make things interesting, in this Season 5, the callings can begin again, but this time for the non passengers like Jared, Grace and Vance. They now experience their parallel selves from the 2024 world, with Ben and Mick now acting as mentors to help them through this, having dealt with callings for over 5 years. The storyline will be to make sense of why this is happening with most likely Gupta or Director Zimmer behind it. They collected a lot of data for months with the passengers' callings, so maybe they were finally able to replicate it. The final conclusion can be an all out war between the two timelines with many passengers now conflicted whether to stay in this 2013 timeline or go back to the 2024 one. I'm just going on a bit, but what I mean to say is that this series still has potential to continue after Season 4, however, I'm also satisfied with what we got.

Maybe the timelines end up merging somehow. Daley lands again on November 4th, 2018 in Flight 828 after the plane once again mysteriously disappears from an NSA hangar, with ATC picking up a weird transmission of a bunch of screamings that suddenly stop (the recorded callings) followed by Daley going "Help..... me....." over the radio. June 2nd, 2024 - a news article comes out that a historical piece of Noah's ark is missing from the Vatican. Suddenly Cal, Angelina and the others who failed the original death date are found on the ship that was Noah's Ark in the Caribbean where Flight 828 originally went down, alive and well. The ones on Noah's Ark get the power of re-incarnation and can bring back the others that perished by going into the divine consciousness, retrieving them and then bringing them back (kinda like how Cal brought the olives off of the plane in his one calling). Ben, Mick and the others have their first callings again, but Daley and Zeke have been getting them all along since Flight 828. One of Daley's first callings is telling Mick, Ben, Grace and Cal that they must go to a cabin in the woods. The original Zeke then reappears in the cabin, frozen with fear and shock to see them all there again. He explains that he remembers everything but acted like he didn't in order to make it easy for Michaela to move on, which she had to do in order to make sure that she could find him again. There are now two Zeke's in the same timeline. The first calling Ben, Mick and Saanvi get on June 2nd, 2024 tells them to go home. They go out to their car and see their burner phones piled up on the hood of their car and Ben's phone starts ringing. It's Vance calling them to see if they made it through "whatever the Hell storm it was that just hit us." They go home and discover Olive, Eden, Jared, Drea and Hope, all where they were when the apocalypse started. Ben goes upstairs to the attic and sees all of his research and work. Eden, Cal and Olive now have to cope with there being 2 of each of them, looking completely different from each other (explained by how circumstances can change ones appearance over time). Likewise, Vance is confronted by another Vance, Fiona and the others confronted by other copies of themselves, etc. To make it even more chilling, new Eden has an imaginary friend called "Angelina" who talks to her about her parents. She comes to her while in the divine consciousness, weighed by the guilt of what she did to Grace and their family. When Angelina comes back to the ark, unaware of what happened, she resurrects Grace, causing there to be another Grace in the picture now as well. New Vance also becomes much more hostile to the passengers during the investigations than the old Vance did. Old Vance, when returning, works to turn the new Vance and NSA into allies as well.

I do really love the Olive and TJ ship but so in 2013 TJ is 18 and olive is 10 1/2 so they prob won’t date again ( the only reason they were able to is bc the people in the plane didn’t age) it’s sad that TJ and Olive aren’t endgame BUT if u remember Levi olive and him are the same age so that would be cool if the end up together.

Although it was nice to see Zeke and Mick get another chance, I doubt that relationship would work in this timeline. Because of his experience in the cave and his looming death date, he was able to heal himself and right his past wrongs, also getting sober. But in this timeline, I think he's still got a long way to go and I don't know if the relationship will survive that strain. I'm not trying to spoil it for anyone, I love the ending, but IF Netflix magically decides to renew the show, I'm thinking we might see this play out. I doubt it'll happen though.

@@Anna-200. Who knows though? My auncle is 11 years older than my aunt and they have been married for 20 years with 2 kids. TJ and Olive's age gap it's only a problem while she is still a kid in development, after she becomes a full adult they can be together (and I don't mean adult as turning 18, I know that legally and culturally that's adulthood, but researchers say that your body can take untill 24/28 years old to complete developing, so they can re meet around that and have a morally ok/healthy relationship).

I don’t think so. Remember Ben said the ones we lost along the way were saved (Fiona et al) but Daly was not. Had he lived, he likely would have made 12 turned into ash during the Final Trial given his kidnapping of Fiona and no apparent remorse in doing so. The Divine likely reincarnated those that were killed along the way after everyone else was off the plane and then had them face judgement at the end. Daly was the only one who was judged poorly and those killed.

This is one of the best ending. It was very unpredictable and yet satisfying. I think the apocalypse did happen in their original world. This is the saddest part. All non-passengers character developments has gone just like that. Everyone died except these passengers who boarded the flight to the new universe or timeline. I also think that those return passengers who died before the judgement day can remembered everything before their original death. You can see from their behaviours and reactions after they got out from the plane and met their love one outside. Lastly, I think Captain Daly returned. Since Ben (on the last flight) and Vance (before entering JFK) said the same thing that 11 people has gone, and Daly was not on the last flight. This is a bittersweet ending and one of the best ending in my view. 😊

Yeah...the 11 were Angelina and her 8 lunatics, Autumn included, Dayly and Fiona. They did not make it back...but curiously Dayly and Fiona were not on the Flock nether in the Life Boat. They returned 2 times to life pretty much like Cal...but as they did not have the saphire as Cal I guess they allready had the secound chance as witnesses of The Glow and as they were killed again...like 4 the 3'rd time they already consumed the secound chance....or they were just the needed sacrifice. Plus if it wasn't for Dayly that flew the plain into the glow they might have actually died not just dessapeared and reapeared with tones of callings...

Fiona got back. Daly not. I think because he wasn't a good person after all. As his son said he left him and his mum, had some other issues I don't remember now. But i have questions about this part too. Clearly in the 2013 plane left Jamaica with more people on board and return in finale with only 11 missing who exploded, but that about others like Daly? He was on the flight but he's not came back nor missing. Same thing with a few other people. As for the end of the world, as they pass they judgement on the plane they are seeing windows and someone literally says what is no volcanic activity.

I was astonished at how quickly lovers blew each other off in just one episode. TJ took all but 2 seconds to find a new love interest, Michaela sends Jared to another tent, "loyal" Jared suddenly doesn't love Michaela as much when she gets off they plane in 2013... It was all a little ridiculous really. But also sweetly satisfying in setting up futures for them all in one episode.

imagine after the last scene there would have been a cut - 11 years later - June 2, 2024 - the day of death that never happens. Ben hosts a garden party with some 828s. He gives a speech and then everyone drinks together. We see Michaela and Zeke happily married with children, we see Grace with a little Eden in her arms, we see Saanvi and Alex, Thomas and Leo, we see Eagen and Adrian as two kind-hearted men, friends of Ben. And last but not least, we see TJ meeting an Olive who is old enough by now. That would be the perfect ending for me

Don’t mean to be one of those people, but I hope you all consider the potential realness of the gospel through this show. They were light with it at first but showed out with Bible verses and more by the last few episodes. There’s opportunity to get to know and commune with the God during this lifetime for real. The story of Jesus may not make sense to you or seem like just an old story, but there is power in having faith just like the passengers chose to have faith along the way. Don’t be an Angelina with it now 😂 but don’t go denying the realness of the gospel and Jesus Christ like Ben did. Having a good heart isn’t the only thing the Bible asks of us. There’s a life full of blessings if you let the “callings” of your life lead you. The idea is real, known as the Holy Spirit. You may think of it as your intuition. ❤ there’s a way to live that doesn’t make things feel so heavy and miserable. Happy to talk about it more with you. I’m early in my walk as well. But if not, try this simple prayer “Lord, I don’t know you and I’m not sure if I believe in you but I want to learn and experience you and your way. Please reveal yourself to me. Just finished season 4 part 2. The ending though expected and seen coming a mile away sure is bittersweet with a capital B. So many tragedy's avoided like lost childhoods, broken families, but gave us real losses too specially the Vance, Sanvi and Ben trio I liked their bond. Now Vance doesn’t remember anything and never will have a relationship with them. Cal was such a vital piece in saving everyone, little man literally disappeared into 'the glow' TWICE, and now doesn't have his memories, well I guess for him to grow up as a ‘normal’ child this loss of memory was necessary. Mick and Zeke are gonna happen after all and so are Drea and Jared. I wanted Ben and Sanvi together but they went back to their ‘true loves’. So, all that build-up of chemistry was for just 1 single scene, like why make that happen. I think it was just done because we pressurized them into making it happen, Now they’re gonna have those lingering looks and mixed feeling when they meet up in future for Cal’s treatments. With Jared and Mick that won’t be the case because Jared doesn’t remember what happened at Tariks cabin, but Sanvi and Ben were both passengers both have their memories, both have feelings for each other but now are back to Grace and Alex. I don’t know what’s gonna be their equation but I sure would like to. So discussing couples, looks like grown up Olives’s ex (TJ) and grown up Cal’s ex (violet was it?) will have something brewing. Kinda feel sorry for TJ though, because he remembers and she doesn’t. At least in Cal’s case both him and Violet are none the wiser. What happens to the babies, are Eden, Chloe and Hope born? What bugs me and probably will always bug me is Cal looking out the plane window and saying it’s all connected and letting his mom die in his arms saying something along the lines like this is how its supposed to be and never explaining that again. Can I get season 5 please. Pretty please.

Well said. That's true about the bond Ben made with Vance. They were great together but I can see them still getting to know which each other especially when they start solving some of the callings 5 1/2 years down the line. Assuming some of the bad things still happen minus all the 828 related stuff. Regarding the babies, I think they will just live on in memory for the passengers. Not so much for Hope since none of them saw Drea giving birth. Even if all those couples decide to have babies, there's no way the exact conditions will be met where the babies they knew will be born.

The last scene was edited. If you look at all of the 828ers and Jared from season 1 to season 4 you would notice how they changed. However, Grace was not edited; during a interview with Josh Dallas (Ben) and Melissa Roxburgh (Mick), Melissa said how they were happy to see Grace standing there as she wasn't on the show for the last season.

I really love this show.. I just think sometimes everything was a bit awkward. Like when they come back and 5 years had passed.. like Mick wasn’t really desperate when she knew about Jared being with her best friend. Or Ben.. like in real life a person would go crazy!

Biggest plot hole... where are Daly and Fiona? They confirmed 11 missing after 11 died in the judgment scene (if I remember correctly). And as this video shows, the 2013 ground control was just speaking with Daly before this happened, so it would seem especially weird for him to suddenly not be there. Those two should've walked in with "the ones they lost along the way," and it would've wrapped things up very easily. Second-biggest plot hole: how is Polly just standing around calmly chatting with people instead of freaking out that she's lost both her baby and her boyfriend? All in all, I think it would've been a more interesting and compelling ending for the passengers to choose whether to go back to 2013 or to stay in 2024. This would've created two timelines though, and I guess that's not what they were going for. Either way, it doesn't feel to me like the neat and simple ending it seems to be on the surface. It opens up way more questions than it answers, and not in a fun way.

Daly would have had a death scene for sure, he was not a good person confirmed by his son and he didn't get to redeem himself in the end either due to Angelina, not to mention he was supposed to be one of the ones that had to die for the end times to happen, meaning (to me at least) that it was good vs evil as Daly was the ones bringing the plagues. Fiona didn't bring on anything bad in the time she was alive. Fiona walked out the terminal when Ben was talking about 'others they lost' as the first :)

*The ending was really different from what I expected. I always belived that Kathryn Fitz/ The Major was behind all this mystery. I thought that the ending would show how the government was involved (a conspiracy). I expected the writers to show the audience that this show is more of a science fiction than a msytery fantasy at the end. If a spin off of this series is ever made, Vance and Kathryn Fitz/ The Major might be the cause of the encounters of the passengers to make the show more close to reality. Anyway, I really enjoyed the unexpected ending!*

Like see all 828ers know a few things about the future. Like Ben knowing Cal will get cured, Mick knowing Zeke is her future forever partner. Ben and Mick knowing their mother will die soon. All of this coupled with the Vance's investigation of the 11 missing passengers. Vance will be even more curious to see the main Captain Daley did not return. ( If this is true ). There can be a very interesting story even beyond this ending. But it's all left to our imagination! Will they really go on living a normal life?! Maybe until a few years of returning, i guess. But man! If only this show could continue! At least like a few more season like Fringe. Nevertheless in a way it's good they didnt drag it i guess.

I read in an article that the show's creator had pitched a 6 Season storyline to NBC back when the series was starting. Based on everything I've seen in this finale, Season 5 can begin with the mystery of the 11 missing passengers from 828 and the NSA once more rounding up all the passengers to investigate what happened, because in no scenario does that go unnoticed. Also there's a deleted scene where Captain Daly is back and Vance sees him get disintegrated like the Angelina platoon, so that way the Major will most likely come into play as she'd be still alive in this timeline. Furthermore there's evidence to suggest that the passengers travelled to a parallel universe because they remember everything, Ben still has the Dragon figurine and Saanvi has the gunshot wound. So technically, the world from 2024 they came from, still exists and is doomed with Jared, Drea, Olive, Eden, Hope, Vance all still stuck there. Just to make things interesting, in this Season 5, the callings can begin again, but this time for the non passengers like Jared, Grace and Vance. They now experience their parallel selves from the 2024 world, with Ben and Mick now acting as mentors to help them through this, having dealt with callings for over 5 years. The storyline will be to make sense of why this is happening with most likely Gupta or Director Zimmer behind it. They collected a lot of data for months with the passengers' callings, so maybe they were finally able to replicate it. The final conclusion can be an all out war between the two timelines with many passengers now conflicted whether to stay in this 2013 timeline or go back to the 2024 one. I'm just going on a bit, but what I mean to say is that this series still has potential to continue after Season 4, however, I'm also satisfied with what we got.

Yes Angelina situation is why organized religion need banishment in our world. Zealot Christian’s that mentality & physically abuse their children & make them read a book of fear! I agree that there is a connection to a source, higher power but it’s not a man made god in a bible. It’s energy & it was shown throughout this movie. That they offset the energy not unlike how the earth is currently killing us off for over using it resource ms with Covid, major fires in Canada, California, Australia, oil & chemical spill in happen they still aren’t contained. There isn’t a man in the sky but the living plant fighting back to survive itself. Someday another species will be digging up our bones, like us with dinosaurs! Our life boat is completely sunk & we won’t be recovering it any time soon.

There's a lot of story potential left for more seasons of this show and the whole cancer plot is a major part of it. Because in 2013 Saanvi's research was still experimental and was only ready by 2018, so even if Saanvi still has the knowledge, I doubt it's going to help Cal in 2013. It's one of those things which you just have to accept and not think too much about. I'm happy with the ending we got and will leave it at that.

I thought the 4th season was really bad because it made no sense at all in so many places (everything about the reception center in the middle of New York, you quarantine it and leave people to their fate, even though everyone is afraid they'll bring the apocalypse and then can seriously get pierced by the neighboring building??? That already hurt to watch). Other things only hinted at and discarded again, partly the characters stood powerfully on the hose (eg when Angelina appeared again as a projection). There is so much nonsense and partly it was really boring. The finale doesn't really explain anything, but at least it leaves you satisfied, because the characters all get a conclusion. And they have the knowledge of the next 11 years. Certainly also exciting.

I hate and love the ending. But mostly love. I wanted Mick and Zeke back so bad. But I’m so damn sad about TJ and Olive. But I’m sure something will happen with them. Hopefully. Idk. I’m sure Ben wouldn’t mind. Hopefully. And Cal will have his childhood back but I’m unsure if he’ll be cured from his cancer (I can’t remember😂😢) did he get cured completely after coming out of the plane. I think he did. Ben and Mick will once again have their life back with their mother and family. But man, I loved this show so much. I never wanted it to end but at the same time I wanted a happy ending with them.

The passengers who died before judgement day are all brought back and we see them emerging. Captain Daly's fate although isn't in the show, we can accept that it's part of the mystery which the NSA will have to investigate. There's a lot of potential for more seasons, but I'm happy with the ending we got.
