Been in Atlanta for 5 of the last 6 years! I'm from Chicago originally and moved to ATL in 2016 (spent 2019-2020 in NYC)! I left ATl and came back for the exact reason you're thinking of moving. The creative opportunities for and with black folks specifically is unreal. I love this city and while it ain't perfect I do think it can be right for so many people! In terms of good areas I would suggest East Point (great lower cost option), Camp Creek (super close to the airport), East Atlanta Village (dope trendy/hipster vibe), and Smyrna (everything you could possible want as far as amenities is near the Braves stadium)! And then if you're open to leaving close but not in Atlanta I would HIGHLY suggest Decatur! Downtwon decatur is full of great food, great people, and great shops and you're still less than 20 minutes from the city if you pick a place near I-20. Last thing I'll say, consider getting a storage unit for your stuff and air bnbing for the first few months for 3-4 weeks at a time. Its more affordable than people think and is a great way to explore the city b/c Atlanta is WAY bigger than most people realize! And if you have any more questions I'd love to help out my IG is @deborahayanna!

This is great advice! I rented in downtown Decatur for years. Decatur city is super expensive now. The south side is near a major studio. There is another film studio being built as well. I see signs for filming here in Atlanta all over the place! The traffic is a beast but I know she will love it here!

Yeah, it's really easy for me to commit when there's a tangible thing i'm aiming for, but this will be my first move that's sort of a "just because" move. I think that's what's been holding me back from doing it sooner. Also, nothing's permanent so I know I can always come back to Texas if it doesn't work out, but it's really hard for me to remember that.

Damn, every time I tell people that Austin is NOT diverse, they all look surprised. So I'm glad you're mentioning it here. I lived in Austin for 5 years and the adaptation was real, and I missed true diversity. I was born and raised in Nigeria and I lived in London for a year in 2006, Detroit for 9 years, Austin for 5 years and now in Brooklyn for the last year. I'm so glad I'm in Brooklyn now and I'll say my moving experiences has made me even more selective about where I live, but rent prices here are like 🥲

Right, I feel like we all as a country know what it's like to "live in LA" it's in all the movies, TV shows etc and it's frankly...out of touch with the rest of the country. I completely understand the appeal but if I can help it I'm trying to always be rooted somewhere else. Fly in to do the thing, and then bounce.

As someone who has lived in Atlanta and has now left, here is what I recommend if you move to Atlanta. 1.) Live in the city. Being in the burbs is horrific and the traffic is similar to LA. 2.) Be prepared to drive all the time. 3.) Make sure to cultivate a community for yourself. 4.) If you have ANY questions about Atlanta, feel free to let me know. I have lived all over the city and burbs and can give you advice from a black woman's perspective.

I have a question. Me and my husband would like to move to ATL, but we are moving from the country. My husband would like to continue the country living because he does a lot of outdoor woodwork. Is there a city /town close to the countryside that you know of. It does not have to be downtown Atlanta.

@@Flourish_today If he wants countryside/acreage, look into Fayetteville or Fairburn, GA. You're technically only 30 min from Downtown Atlanta but you have the best of both worlds. As an Atlanta native, ITS the GHETTO!! I'm kidding. I think for a creative, Atlanta is definitely a place where you can make connections, get resources and access to opportunities that you'd need to further your career. On the other side of that, due diligence is completely and absolutely necessary. And then take that due diligence and do some more. That goes for the people and housing. As for neighborhoods, I've always wanted to live in Little Five Points and Candler Park. It's a small neighborhood in Atlanta proper, but it's funky and bohemian. Most people point to Midtown and Buckhead, but I think it's over-priced honestly. East Atlanta and Decatur are also very cool. Just outside of the city but very close to everything is the Smyrna area, its northwest. Great food and moderately affordable for being that close to the city. Brookhaven (north of Buckhead) is a cool little hidden gem as well. South of downtown is the West End (where all of the HBCUs are), East Point, College Park area. Its more black folk than many of the other parts of Atlanta, but it's my personal favorite (I'm partial because I lived there the longest and I love my people). One last thing to note is that Atlanta is very car centric, which means the traffic is always terrible. It may be the same for San Antonio, but it's something to make note of.

Living in SA right now and I’ll be sad to see you go, BUT I think you’d probably thrive in ATL. I’ve moved cross country a lot due to my husband’s job. It all depends on how much you want your current belongings and affording the cost of new purchases when you arrive as to keeping what you own. The less you have, the better (obviously). Tip #1: Bring any irreplaceable heirlooms or sensitive items with you personally! Do not let them go on a moving truck or POD. They can be lost forever. Tip #2: Pack a box labeled to unpack FIRST at your destination - things like a set of sheets, blanket, towels, coffee maker, scissors, a setting of dishes / simple cookware, etc. (anything you will want before you truly get unpacked). Tip #3: Arrange / Package the items coming in your car with you in an easily transportable way. You will want to bring them into each hotel room to prevent theft. Cars do get broken into or stolen at hotels. Tip #4: Budget for broken or missing items. Things inevitably get damaged during a move.

I'd definitely say to manifest and go for it! I've lived in Atlanta for 35 years and it definitely has its perks, for one, I love that all my doctors are black women, from my OB, PCP to my mental health therapist. Also, my husband is in the film industry and he does a lot of camera op gigs and there's been a lot of work here for him considering Atlanta is becoming a mini Hollywood of sorts when it comes to production/TV/Film. My husband is also in the pre production/ research phase of filming/ directing his first documentary and he's in the best location to make it, Atlanta! His documentary will be a gift to the city and I can see him getting a lot of support from the black community for a plethora of reasons. I graduated from Georgia State Univ and he Valdosta State. I lived in midtown/downtown for over 10 years but eventually grew out of having to be in the middle of everything and we eventually moved to Sandy Springs and we love it here! I will say, Atlanta has become expensive so be mindful of that. The main issue is, the salaries don't match the rising cost of living, but you being an entrepreneur setting your own salary, you will be okay. I'd say, for a decent 2 bedroom, be looking in paying in the $1800-2400 range, maybe even more if you're set on midtown.

WELCOME TO ATLANTA HALLEASE 🎉❤! Im speaking it! Lived here for 15 years off/on. Moved cross country 5x. Already saw some good reccs for neighborhoods in the comments: decatur, camp creek, east point…. And add summerhill to your list. I would avoid Smyrna or anywhere north bc traffic is 🤯 up that way. Stay somewhat closer to midtown and south. Plus lots of studios are south. Ive used uhauls, storage units and even a campervan to move. Pods and an airbnb are definitely the way to go if the goal is a house/apt. Be sure to drive your route to expected destinations during rush hour. All the suggested neighborhoods above are either walkable or have everything you need within 5miles. Good luck!

I would fan-girl out with the opportunity to meet you face-to-face here in the ATL. But beyond my selfish reasons, I made the decision to move to ATL so my daughter would have the chance to meet and see people who looked like her doing some of everything - from struggling to make it to owning the whole thing. Consequently, she found a crew of friends who helped her get comfortable in her skin. I didn't have that growing up and it shows. Of course, the film industry is popping here and will definitely provide you a bigger space to be fully YOU as a digital story teller and as a Hallease 🙂.

I’m from Florida (very diverse), but moved to metro Atlanta for pharmacy school and stayed. If you plan to live in the perimeter (heart of the city) I think you’ll get the experience you’re looking for. The traffic, night life, diversity, etc. it reminds me of a mini New York. I live on the outskirts, 30 mins west and the difference is night and day from the city. Way more conservative, and the closer you get to the Alabama border the more you get stared at sadly. Cost of living is great here compared to the city though. My husband and I like it for the most part. We are late 20’s and introverts so we don’t feel the need to visit the city too often unless there is a festival or something going on. I think it’s worth looking into. A change of scenery is sometimes the thing that leads to the thing. Best of luck!

I'm a native Floridian and we moved to Atlanta back in 2007ish. It was cool. A bit different and colder than I liked BUT the vibe was it! We came back to Florida because it was a better fit for us. We live just off the beach now and couldn't have that in Atlanta. I thin it would be a great place for a creative such as yourself. When we made the move out of state (we moved to Virginia prior to this move) we first settled on a city then we visited several times to get to know the neighborhoods. Once we felt satisfied we made the move. Those were great experiences for our young lives and I don't regret those moves at all. Good luck and God speed sis!

I've moved across the country multiple times. I accumulated stuff at I got older and time between moves extended. I never took furniture until I bought a nice mattress. Once I did that I didn't want to lose the money selling it and buying a new one and if you're renting a U-Haul for a queen mattress you might as well bring everything else too. I'm retrospect it would have financially been better to just sell it all and start over. However that takes time and energy and you lose any sense of the comforts of home. So finally it would have been better but having my familiar things is grounding and helped me and my pets adjust. It was instant home as soon as I got unpacked. Now I have a partner and we are planning a big move when his kid graduates from high school. We are going to sell everything and start fresh in the new place. We want that complete separation experience of stripping down to only the things that really matter and beginning together anew. I suspect that financially it's cheaper to sell it all and start over. Moving will cost at least $2000 if you do it yourself. I've driven a U-Haul truck and paid for space in a shared moving truck. A 1 bedroom apartment cost the same either way. If you can get down to the smallest U-Haul trailer it's pretty cheap. It will fit a queen mattress. I could not get my studio apartment stuff in there and I didn't have a sofa. So really it would be a mattress and clothes and household goods. U-Haul really does a good job of estimating what you can fit. Personally I'm looking forward to letting go of as much as possible and starting over, especially since we've been living with what we both accumulated before we met. Picking new things together sounds really nice.

I definitely recommend, I recently moved to Atlanta from Miami, a much better culture shift as a black creator. It's much better to rent an Airbnb there for a month, go visit different neighbors in person at different times of day. I personally loved just being a bit out of the city due to the beautiful scenery. Get different quotes based on your needs, I find folks in Georgia Generally much nicer than Florida, people here seem happy to help. Save a ton, moving will be so expensive. Better to spend more for a moving company, trying to do it DIY will cost losta of stress

Love this video! As someone who has moved from the south to the West Coast, I would agree with another Commenter and Declutter declutter declutter! If you’re not very attached to what you have now, sell it. Do you take note though that a lot of furniture and such are taking a long time to be delivered. So plan accordingly. However, if you like what you have and you plan on keeping it, I say get a U-Haul cube, I think it may be a little cheaper than a pod, and haul it in. If you can, I would recommend spending quite a bit of time in Atlanta before you finalize your move. Each time you go stay in a different part of town, explore different neighborhoods at different times of the day. don’t be afraid to try out the suburbs. I like sandy springs. You can always drive to the arts events. IMO

I'm no longer in Atlanta but I lived there 2016-2017. I say go where you're thinking of going. It's better to have stories and memories than regrets and "what ifs". I've lived in 10+ cities across country including: Austin TX, Houston TX, Atlanta GA, Philly PA, Silver Spring MD, Albany NY, Boston MA, Denver CO, Portland OR, and Sacramento CA. I'm happy to offer some advice to anyone who wants to live in the cities I mentioned. My two cents on Atlanta: - The city has a vibrant culture with lots to do year round. Also many different industries there, especially in service, manufacturing, media, food, and music (tech is also growing there) - The suburbs are the safest with the best quality of life + cost of living - It's very affordable! Even the ritzy parts of Atlanta are not ridiculous - the food is amazing!!!!! - AFROPUNK music festival happens there so you could get a media pass and film festival goers - Like you said, it's becoming a Hollywood in the south...creativity is everywhere in Atlanta WHERE TO LIVE The suburbs are the best, especially Stone Mountain, Lawrenceville, Decatur, Buckhead, Marrietta, Sandy Springs and all their smaller surroundings cities. Within the city, the best areas (in my hipster opinion) are Midtown, Little Five Points, Old Fourth Ward, Inman Park, and Cabbagetown. Why I left Atlanta: - crime rate is so high, it felt inescapable. Things were better when I moved to the suburbs. - it gets very country as soon as you get out of the metro area (no pavement, just red clay dirt roads and bush until you get to Athens). Still, I'm sure there have been many developments since I was there. - while in the city, I was never sure whether to go to church or a strip club because I saw them everywhere, next to each other 🙃 With every move or transition, you'll have to make sure your pros outweigh your cons and find the best compromise/solutions to barriers. I hope your move goes well and I hope you create incredible films in Atlanta. Best of luck Hallease. I'll check back in six months for a moving vlog!

As an ATL native and as someone who has done multiple cross country moves…I say sell as much as you can and take only what you can fit in your car. That worked well for me (but I’m a single lady, so it’s easier). As far as neighborhoods, Brookhaven, North Druid Hills, Druid Hills, and North Decatur will be your best options. Chambee and Doraville are also nice bc they feel a bit suburban while being in the perimeter. I would also look to rent a house before renting an apartment. Way more bang for your buck. Just know you can find super cheap homes, but the quality of life in the area may be what you’re paying for (aka food, groceries, fast access to emergency resources…first responders, etc.) Also, I’m sure you have plenty of contacts but my brother is in film here and could absolutely help build your network/community. I moved from East to West coast a few years ago. I recommend getting rid of any furniture you're not tied too. A lot of stuff didn't fit well physically or aesthetically in the new place. I used a pod, which was great, but make sure you have somewhere to pack and unload like a parking space or driveway or the like. In a pinch you can sometimes get it dropped off at a storage unit place. We also shipped our car and flew which saved a lot of time.

I lived in ATL the majority of my adult life. Piece of advice, if you get an apt get a new built building to have a shot at a decent living experience. IMO Atlanta is home of the slumlords. Even the “luxury” apts are ghetto (not maintained or managed properly) and most gated communities gates stay open lol. Price wise Atlanta is on par with Austin. I would recommend a short- term lease and move where you plan to hang out/ work. Traffic in ATL is horrific. It use to take me 2 hours to drive 15 miles to work in regular traffic and longer if it rained. Just be aware you will definitely have that old South experience in certain parts of the ATL metro area and outside of it there are definitely some sundown towns. Living in ATL or any other major city in GA, you are definitely living in a bubble compared to the rest of the state. Neighborhood wise I think Old Fourth Ward (O4W)/ PCM area, Inman Park, East Atlanta, Virginia Highlands, downtown Decatur, West Midtown, would be good areas to consider. ATL has a huge population of Live/work living spaces and numerous workspace companies. Also, give yourself a year to get use to how different things are done there lol… Car insurance is way higher than in TX, and the taxes you will pay in order to register your car will give you a shock- but they do have payment plans. Accept the fact you will have a high water bill and stay out of Lake Lanier - I’m convinced it’s haunted based on the history behind it. 😅 The neighborhoods are forever changing… so get a short term lease and go out on the weekends to experience the vibes. Definitely do the Oakland cemetery tour, find all of the little doors, enjoy the beltline and do the mural tours. Austin weirdness is nothing compared to ATL and after while you’ll get used to it lol I’ve now been in Austin almost 1.5 years… That feeling like being “othered” is definitely weird but the influx of tech ppl coming in from all over (especially Cali) has definitely helped. I find that most of the POC (that want to interact with other POC) reside in Pflugerville & Killeen. However, I’m currently trying to either move to Houston or back to the East Coast bc Austin just isn’t giving for me. Im originally from DC, and as a person whom has moved states several times ( lived in ATL, Detroit, & now Austin), 1. If there are big pieces of furniture you want to keep but also not road trip 20+ hours: a. Book a Pod early (earlier the less you pay) and figure out shipping options for your cars. But plan ahead for the pickup & delivery times. Most expensive option. B. Rent a moving truck and car trailer from Budget (most cost effective). Cost me $500 for a week when I moved from ATL to DET. 2. If you are selling your big furniture pieces and keeping a car or two: a. Ship everything you can using USPS priority mail before hitting the road. Pack up the car and road trip it. You can even do a small uhaul hitch trailer to put some valuables you want to keep. b. No car?: Ship everything with priority mail & fly to the new location. This is what I did when moving from DC to Austin last year. I flew southwest bc I got to free checked bags and a carryon for my clothes and valuables I want to keep close to me. Ultimately weight the pros & cons of replacing the furniture you will sale. Sometimes it’s cheaper to go through the headache of bringing it with you.

@@victorybeginsinthegarden GA is already over priced. If you didn’t move there before 2010 you missed out on the low prices. Prepare to pay at least $1500 for a studio apt with minimal working amenities. Rent increases are generally $200+. Even the suburbs are expensive now. At this point if you want to move there be prepared for the cost and your time cost of sitting in traffic if you don’t work from home. I live in TX now and although I could make a living giving tours bc I know that city like the back of my hand - I no longer care to live in ATL anymore. I’ll visit but don’t care to live there.

Wow! I've been living here in Atl for my whole adult life, and I can't completely say that I want to stay. For me, having a family, it's not very family friendly for kids unless you're already in the middle class category. As far as opportunities, it's very ripe for that, though. A creative person like me trying to get my channel moving while having 5 kids and no career? Rough as hell. But we don't have the money to move to another city just yet. I'd say it may be right for you guys to come here and prosper because you don't have kids to worry about!

As far as moving, my wife’s job moved us here but we probably would have did a combination of a pod and selling some stuff. We were going to rent temporarily and then buy a house but the rent prices were damn near the same so we opted to buy instead because at the time home prices and interest rates were way lower and a mortgage would have been less than rent.

When moving state lines, I say make things as easy as possible on yourself. If you are able to travel there ahead of time and scout places to live, figure out the areas you think you want to live etc, do that. I have moved multiple times over the years. I moved from Atlanta to South New Jersey then out to Seattle. The first move, I sold or donated most of my kitchen and bedroom stuff, and packed my living room and closets into a pod and moved that. The move from New Jersey to Seattle, WA, my husband and I literally packed what we could in our cars and sold or donated everything else. It was nice starting fresh in a new state. Plus we don't think our old furniture would have fit into our new place.

I moved from the Northeast to Chicago in my mid-twenties and I bought new (and secondhand) stuff, but I also didn't own much that was worth much and the cost of bringing it definitely outweighed the value. I did start with a six-month sublease which I think worked really well - I ended up staying in the same apartment for five and a half years, but you can't REALLY know what neighborhood you're going to like (or how you feel about the building) until you're there. Six months is long enough that you don't have to move immediately but short enough that it's only six months, if you hate it. I also think an important thing to do is to have a plan for how you are going to meet local friends. It can be really lonely moving far away, and there aren't as many designed socialization events as there are in college. And since you're married, it could probably be tempting for you and your husband just to hang out with each other until at some point you realize you haven't made any friends, which is just a bummer. So for me when I moved, I made a list of all the ways I was planning to make friends (a particular kind of studio fitness classes, getting back into playing a musical instrument, my local alumni club, making sure to go out to new places on weekends to try to meet people instead of just going home and watching Netflix) and forced myself to do it. People tend to be really nice when you say, "I just moved here and I'm trying to make friends," but you actually have to do it. Also Atlanta is fine but if you decide you want to try Chicago give me a shout :)

I currently live in Atlanta (GA has raised me since I moved here as a kid) and I’m So excited to share all the knowledge I’ve accumulated thus far on moving - especially after moving across the country - and the city! I will tell you folks will try to dissuade you from moving here because “we’re full” BUT it is a great city for a filmmaker and I heard you on the being a dime a dozen in terms of BIPOC folks Atlanta neighborhoods to check out: West End, Reynoldstown,Old Fourth, Midtown, Cabbagetown, Summer Hill, Peoplestown, Decatur (not ATL but City of Decatur is mad cute), East Lake and there’s a few others. Rent isn’t gonna be cheap because its rising all over the city but those are some central neighborhoods that’ll help you get to know the city. As for moving A detailed google sheet or notion with tags is your best friend! I brain dumped every task that I had into a spreadsheet then separated them by bucket (cleaning / close out/ utilities + bills, etc) and assign the tasks to a person and whether or not its not started, in progress, complete, or waiting with a note section. My fiancé and i checked in the top of each week to see where we were and what was next to knock off the list. As for your stuff I would say price out UPack! It was the best experience and moved our stuff so simply. Two pods fit in one regular parking space and if you have time on your side is a literal fraction of traditional movers. They also have a program to connect you with local movers to help you load in your current spot and unload in a new place - even across state lines. Let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with! I’m more than happy to help 😊

Moving all depends on your preferences and timeline. Some people prefer to set up shop right away, PODs or shipping are easy but more expensive. Some shipping companies offer pretty good discounts depending on the service you want to use. You have a lot of expensive equipment so if you use this route make sure to choose the best insurance plan. Driving is great if you don't mind the time it takes vs flying or using other modes. I've done the sell everything and rebuy a couple of times. Cost-wise, I didn't save much money. I buy mostly secondhand and it took several months for me to restock. So it took up a lot of my time to find replacements and then arrange transportation for the bigger items (I ended up on the second floor in an old historic building with no elevator). Hope this helps. Good luck!!

I lived in San Diego last year with my partner and it was the best city I have ever lived in for so many reasons. With that we ended up leaving to La because of the cost of living and lack of diversity in San Diego proper. Believe it or not LA is cheaper than San Diego lmao. We originally moved from WA to San Diego and lived in a BNB for a couple months and it was the best thing we could of done. We got a feel for the neighborhoods without committing to an apartment. Mind you we brought nothing but of clothes and our cars so that was very easy for us. I would say if you have a bunch of furniture that you would like to keep for years then bring it with you. No need to start over and consider putting your it in a storage unit in GA for a month or so and short term rent while you feel out the city. Sorry for the novel but moving for your art is the most exciting and nerve racking thing we can ever do. But it’s going to be worth it. This is exciting! I’ve moved across the country too many times (originally from HTX) and I’m getting ready to move across states in 6 weeks. I’ve sold all my stuff a couple of times and more recently I’ve moved with everything. Keep your stuff if you like it because many things furniture and home decor are backordered if you’re ordering online. We’re a 1 car family. We usually hire movers on both ends. My husband drives the uhaul and I drive the car. If the drive is longer than 8-10 hours break it up because uhauls usually don’t have cruise control and only go 65-ish mph 🥱 never done pods due to horror stories of ppl being w/o their stuff for weeks. Last tip… think about your first few days in your new space and pack a box with all of those things that are easily accessible to avoid a million trips to a big box store within the first few days. You’ll probably have to go at least once but hopefully not more! I hope you end up liking ATL!

Yes! I saw this tip about labeling a box “immediate or essentials” and putting toiletries, basic cookware, etc in it so you can at least handle business while unpacking.

Come to Atlanta but give it 2 years. There are so many types of Black people. Atlanta has a lot going on and it takes a while to sort through tribes (I’m still lazy about that). But people are definitely active and ambitious and ready to connect. I’m a spectator with creator leanings, and Atlanta basically was like, “Woman, put up or shut up!” 😆 Atlanta Tip: Be prepared to switch homes after a year. It always takes 6 months to a year to find your hood. Moving Tip: Put all your stuff in an Atlanta storage unit and move freely like you would through the airport after checking in bags. Rent prices are such that you might move a few times. The less you have the better. Areas of town? Midtown is a whole vibe, but consider the Emory University adjacent areas like City if Decatur and Toco Hills because that still puts you in the middle of the city. You want to stay inside 285 and above I-20 until you get your training wheels off. Good luck!

I would say if you’re going to move to Georgia and need to be in Atlanta. I would say live in a county close to it because I was born in Atlanta and lived more than half of my life in Atlanta and based off of my experience it’s really dangerous even in upperclass areas and I would never want to move back to Atlanta

Haha I'm moving soon to another state. I loved Savannah GA for art school. I totally felt that vibe you described of people being excited & collaborative about interests there. Atlanta also has a SCAD campus. I seriously considered Atlanta after school; the traffic tho! It's so hard to know what the best way to move is. Like this move I'm storing some stuff to come visit to collect later, but that also has downsides. How long is that prudent for? How much am I not gonna want to deal with it. How much can I fit next trip? During college I definitely found myself replacing some stuff I'd stored at my parents and wound up with dupes. But moving back from college I got rid of almost everything and that was a punch to the gut for years when I regretted a big chunk of it. So that was too extreme. This time I'm trying to do a balance of both. Packing what can fit in my car (especially hard to find or $$ stuff), getting rid of a bunch of stuff I'm not overly attached to but storing some more of the what-if or the want-but-can't-fit stuff. And some bulky stuff I'm going to deliberately try to find dupes for once I move so I can get rid of the originals on the next visit. I wish I had the patience/motivation to sell stuff because that would be smart too. I've never tried the pod stuff, but I'm almost tempted to buy a used enclosed trailer and try to resell after I move. Because it seems like the cost might be comparable to pods or a rental moving truck to other states. But I don't know how practical that is either lol. Definitely not gonna try that in the winter though. Please share your research!

I have resided in the countryside of Ga for the last 22yrs and absolutely love it. I have visited ATL perhaps 4 times and it was specifically because friends who were visiting hadn’t been and wanted my company. I’m just as clueless as they are about ATL. Weather is rather lovely. Off topic- care to share why you made the switch to an Apple Watch and how it’s been working for you?

We switched to iPhones a while back because Verizon was running a rowdy special and we bought the watches with it because again - the special was wild. They were basically giving them away.

living somewhere where things are just happening has gotten me in rooms i have no business being in. and think of what it could do for you, who actually has business being in them lol. not always being the only one in the room has been a soul-deep sigh of relief also. if you need advice on pulling of a cross country move lmk cause i've done it 5 times (tl:dr, sell most of your stuff, start fresh)

oooh another fun side effect of living in a hub city like ATL: you can get a direct flight nearly anywhere if you need to travel for work

I'll be reaching out to you for tips because 👀 also yes to direct flights. That's something I'm very excited about with ATL. As you know, I've been flown out of SA a lot for work and i'm excited to have that overall experience be more seamless.

You are so beautiful and your hair is so feminine and thick! im thinking doing locs. I just don’t like people coming up to me touching my hair without permission.
