Manifesto for Change | Youth and future

Dear friends,
on the occasion of the Change the World Forum at the United Nations, in collaboration with Diplomatici NGO and Pathway to Paris I launched with Jesse Paris Smith, Rebecca Foon, Antonio Spadaro and Alessia Zanelli the Youth and Future project, the international extension of Parola ai giovani, the call for ideas originally launched in Italy in 2022.
What would you change about the society you live in and how? What is your word for change? These were the two questions answered in writing by thousands of young Italians. The most enlightening and profound answers have been collected in the book Manifesto del Cambiamento, with the extraordinary preface by Pope Francis.
Today, I address the same questions to all young people from all over the world. People of all religions, backgrounds, gender identity and social classes. Let’s build together the international #ManifestoForChange, a global book that will collect the stories, the longings and the outlooks of the new generations, marking the course of a possible-future.
A number of extraordinary universities have already confirmed their participation, including Yale University, Harvard University, Berklee College of Music, Wellesley College in the USA; UNAM in Mexico; UANIL in Brazil where we are organizing a series of symposiums.

oggi, in occasione del Change the World Forum alle Nazioni Unite, in collaborazione con Diplomatici ONG e Pathway to Paris, lancerò con Jesse Paris Smith, Rebecca Foon, Alessia Zanelli e Antonio Spadaro, il progetto Youth and Future, la declinazione internazionale di Parola ai giovani, concorso di idee lanciato in Italia nel 2022.
