Great story. Bishop Gaa was a late bloomer. He was a mechanical engineer in occupation before he became a priest when he became older.

THis is all very well but what is the Church doing about the poor? There are families virtually starving in the Philippines while the rich get richer. I assume the rich Philippines are Catholic so why is the Church not denouncing these and and an apparent corrupt government?
