Jeepneys (Filipino: Dyipni), sometimes called simply jeeps, are buses and the most popular means of public transportation ubiquitous in the Philippines. They are known for their crowded seating and kitsch decorations, which have become a widespread symbol of Philippine culture and art.
Manila, the capital of the Philippines, is a densely populated bayside city on the island of Luzon, which mixes Spanish colonial architecture with modern skyscrapers. Intramuros, a walled city in colonial times, is the heart of Old Manila. It’s home to the baroque 16th-century San Agustin Church as well as Fort Santiago, a storied citadel and former military prison.

Did you ask them about the engine? Patrol or diesel.?

I am not sure, but just search wether the engines is diesel or petrol, because I know that the engine is Isuzu 4BC1, but I don't know what is the fuel type.

Before the pandemic, the regular fare in the jeepney is worth Php 8.00 but that's only in Manila & nearby provinces, here in my province (Naga City, Camarines Sur), the regular fare is ranging from Php 9.00 to Php 10.00 but hey have also discounts to the students, elderlies & PWD's but when the pandemic began, they have also increased the regular fare

The exact location where you're taking video is at Plaza Lacson in Sta. Cruz Manila, Plaza Lacson was originally named as PLAZA GOITI (named in honor of Martin de Goiti who founded the city of Manila in 1571) but in 2003, the plaza renamed as "PLAZA LACSON" by former Manila Mayor Lito Atienza in honor of Arsenio Lacson who served as a city mayor from 1952 to 1962

If you saw the Pasig-Quiapo Jeepney routes, some of those jeepneys are running like a race car that's why they involve in some accidents on the road because they're overtaking other jeepneys sometimes

The jeepney in 1:26 was made by Sarao Motors (you can see the word "SARAO" in front) they're the one who 1st manufactured the jeepneys in the Philippines, the Sarao Motors was owned by the late Leonardo Sarao & it was already owned by his son Ed Sarao

Once the passenger reached his/her destination, he/she will say the word "PARA" or "PARA PO" to let the driver stop the jeepney & unload the passenger

but some jeepneys have a string between the hand railings, so the passengers will only pull it to let the driver stop the jeepney & then let the them (passengers) unload

if you go to EDSA-Cubao, you will see lots of pimped jeepneys which are also known as a "bar on wheels", and "the Fast and Furious of the Philippines". They were sometimes used for street racing during their day off.
