this is actually mind blowing . I never thought an electric vehicle would be able to travel this far! For reference, I live in Quezon City and have to commute to Manila. I think I am sold na that I want my first vehicle to be an EV. I am planning on buying a Wuling, or if may budget maybe BYD, as my first EV!

You really help our country to be confident and not be afraid to move to the full electric vehicle. Whether we like it or not, it is unavoidable. Fuel-powered vehicles will one day be a thing of the past just like black and white TV's. Not because we do not want to but we need to, considering the effect on the world's pollution. Gusto ko malaman kung watercooled ba yung batteries ng Wuling Bingo for proper heat management during charging and discharging dito sa tropical country. If wala then mabilis yan ma degrade kung air-cooled lang sya kasi napakainit dito satin especially sa kalsada and during heavy traffic.

The challenge with EV cars is long distance driving. Di mo madadala ito from Manila to Pagudpud. For sure sasabit ka at walang charging station pag dating sa Norte. Kaya much better pa rin ang hybrid. Pero kung pure urban driving lang, then EV would be excellent choice.

Hinde masyadong problema yung battery. Maganda warranties ni Wuling. 3-year/100,000km warranty on vehicle and 8-year/120,000km warranty on battery.

Yung battery na gamit sa EV ay hindi tulad ng conventional na batt sa mga device natin, mostly it would take 12-15yrs bago mapalitan and by that time mura nlng ang mga replacement

true this is an issue for full EVs, kaya nung nagdrive kami ng pinsan ko lagi nasa route namin either may SM or AYALA MALLS para makapag free charge while inside the mall.

@@QuickInform10PH it's still Japanese, only assembled here. We do not have anything of our own that can closely compete with any cars from China. Even Vietnam beat us to it, they have Vietnam branded cars though mostly Chinese made parts. Jeepneys & tricycles are practical but not innovative and a sign of engineering mediocrity. Countries may call them junks (well, they are practically made from junks). They are noisy, dirty, uncomfortable and downright dangerous. Yet some tricycles uses Chinese made motorcycles. What you call fake took billions of dollars in R&D to come up with and millions of sales worldwide.
