Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh defended Prime Minister Narendra Modi against criticism from Rahul Gandhi, asserting that the state government is in constant communication with the Prime Minister on all matters, including security measures and relief operations. He emphasized that all important decisions are made under Modi's guidance. Addressing allegations that PM Modi has not visited violence-affected areas in Manipur, CM Biren stated, "Whether PM Modi visits Manipur or not is a separate matter. However, all our efforts, including rescue operations and relief distribution, are carried out under his leadership. He remains closely connected and briefed on every development."
