I learnt for the first time that before entering Imphal, one has to get an inner line permit . Manipur is small state surrounded by nine hills, it's capital Imphal is equally small city. Most visited place in Imphal is Kangla fort, it's open to public though earlier Indian Defence Forces used to occupy . Kangna fort has few features , such as, four unique boats, a polo ground, big park , a temple and many more.

Manipur~ named because it's money shape ??. Never came across such a riddle. Where did you get that description from, or you invented it. What if the name of the state is changed? Too many self style historian's make believe overdosed interpretation has tarnished and confused the identity of Manípur.

I didn’t say money in English I said mani in Hindi / Sanskrit means a gem , it’s shape is like a jem that’s why it is known as jem or jewel of India - Manipur
