How are kukis the perpetrators of the whole conflict just because of the first conflict starting on ccpur? Such a low cognitive ability response to the whole problem is itself a display of Idiocracy You really thought a small conflict between the communities without any actual reason behind it was the cause of the whole conflict between the communities? Then why does meiteis especially the AT have lots of arms and ammunition ready when the conflict first started? Why did Biren confiscate arms for years beforehand only to the kuki zo communities and never on his own communities? Didn't he supply them instead? Why do the Meitei areas in ccpur hold lots of arms and weaponry in their basement? Why do meitei strive for ST which they rejected in the first place? They don't even fulfill the ST criteria as a community and not just any communities are given ST based on their preferences.

@@epichammer4078 the conflict was bound to start not because of where it started There was already a protest held in ccpur against Biren and his agenda before and lots of other situations like Biren chasing out villages and demolition of churches were done by him. Tho I agree some illegal immigrants who start to settle in Manipur are a hindrance to the state but mostly they aren't even on huge numbers compared to the actual kuki zo population who actually are in Manipur. Biren could've imposed some rules and restrictions on entry of illegal immigrants and not have started a war with the whole kuki zo communities. Also fyi the conflict started at Kangvai when some meiteis burned down the memorial Gate of Kukis Get your facts straight

RN Ravi the governor of Tamil Nadu during his assignment as interlocutor of the Naga peace talks once recommended that Assam Rifles be replaced by ITBP for better guarding of Indo-Myanmar borders. The AR has been in the Northeast for many decades. (Source: TOI dated May 18, 2016). Now that the retired additional director general of BSF, PK Mishra, stated that AR be shifted from Manipur to bring peace to the state, his statement has many implications thereof. It's high time the AR officers posted in Manipur visit the Nupilal Memorial Complex situated next to the Imphal Head Post Office to see the statue of Meira Paibis confronting the AR. Like Mà Durga fighting demon king Mahisasura, it depicts the indomitable spirit of Manipuri mothers fighting the injustice of the mighty British Raj that happened on December 12, 1939, at the place where the Complex is situated. A classic symbol of the British colonial era in Manipur. Rotation of deployment location at regular intervals in the public interest be made mandatory if a particular security outfit is stationed for about one hundred years.
