Manipur has been burning for 2 months now.
During my recent visit to Manipur, the experience has been heartbreaking - violence has left behind a trail of tragic consequences.
Manipur needs Peace. My strong appeal to the people of Manipur is that peace is the only way forward. It is now time that conversations for peace happen between all communities and lasting solutions for harmony are discussed.

My heart broke at 4:57. It is so sad when the only remains you have of your family are photographs. How helpless is that woman! Those affected deserve all help and support. They have underwent so much trauma. Regardless of your political affiliation, remember that patriotism is about being there for the people in your country.
