Rahul Gandhi met people from the Meitei community staying in a relief camp in Manipur’s Jiribam. He was also seen greeting the local leaders, workers and volunteers outside the camp.Rahul Gandhi, who arrived at the Imphal airport this afternoon, visited the Jiribam Higher Secondary School relief camp earliertoday and offered support to the victims of violence there.

First of all this is not the first time Manipur experienced unrest. The root cause of the present issues created by congress party and its leaders only. Because they gave reservations to only Kuki’s who are really rich landlords and did not anything to the comparatively poor Meiteis and when the court tried change this irregularity and asked the government to consider giving reservations also for Meiteis caused intolerance among the Kukis . And now Rahul Gandhi is only listening to the rich who has been enjoying reservations in jobs and education for years
