Cet homme était magnifique, quel virtuose avec sa guitare !!!!!!!! Ne me parlez pas des Gypsies King. C'était un homme analphabète, parce que sa vie en avait décidé autrement !!!!!! Mais tellement génial avec ses doigts et sa guitare, qu'il gagnait beaucoup d'argent !!!!!!!!!!! Je le félicite , il est arrivé avec rien, mais un talent irréaliste et inimaginable !!!!!!!! Merci à lui ,j'ai pu découvrir cette musique fantastique !!!!!!!!!

Sur la planète, ta musique sera toujours appréciée. Le souvenir de Manitas del Plata, sera toujours présent dans les mémoires des terriens. Ton image et ta musique resteront toujours dans nos souvenirs. Repose en paix au milieu des étoiles. Dieu t’a rappelé à lui, car il voulait animer son paradis de ta belle musique. MANITAS GENIE de la composition, on ne se lasse pas de sa musique, son corps s'est éteint, SON IMMENSE OEUVRE reste, MERCI A CEUX QUI LA PARTAGE, son âme se prépare à une nouvelle vie. Peut être un nouveau musicien.

Amo Manitas de Plata... lo escucho desde nino. Creci con su musica que la escuchaba mi Madre. Es mi heroe en el Flamenca. Es una bendicion verlo a esa edad moviendo esos dedos en forma maravillosa. Que gran Maestro fue. Lo extranaremos en sus conciertos. Murio en Noviembre de 2014. Pero le esta tocando a Dios en el cielo. Murio tocando la misma guitarra, reconstruida varias veces pero con gran sonido y un inmenso aprecio y amor de manitas por esa guitarra. Gracias por subir ek video. Y que Viva Espana su Flamenco y que viva francia con ese gran Flamenquero frances que fue manitas. por siempre estara vivo su toque y su musica.

I was just a young boy when I first saw him on British television, I didn't play guitar then. I thought he had a great face. I play guitar now, have played for over 40 years. I found his name again only tonight and I'm sad that he is no longer with us. He had a great face, yes, but now I know he was a wonderful, gifted musician. I will listen to Manitas again. Thank you for the special memories, Manitas.

I knew Manitas well when I lived in Montpellier France in 1969 to 1977. He was a regular around town playing everywhere, in the clubs, on the streets and at St Maries de la Mer. He used to come to the Hippo Club at La Grande Motte and at the Boccaccio Club when I was working there as a bouncer. I even saw him at the mall standing next to his records on the shelf, waiting do do autographs. He was chauferred around in his Mercedes Benz, accompanied by several beautiful models. His Benz was a strange color, like a mix of gold and orange.
